Local man's 7Days Performance house and car win written in the stars – but he had life-changing decision to make
'Am I being punked?' His decision to spend £100 on tickets paid off handsomely. A LOCAL man thought he was being 'punked' after winning a stunning house he drives by every day! Tin Lo of Watton, Norfolk couldn't believe his name was drawn in the 7Days competition that saw him win the 5-bed property and cracking Volkswagen Tiguan R. 3 3 Enter this week's 7Days competition draw HERE The incredible competition draw on June 8th came with a decision to make - either the house and car as a bundle, or a life-changing cash alternative of £500,000. It's even more incredible when you consider that Tin stays just a few minutes away from the dream home and passed by it on his daily commute. Tin, 38, says he spent around £100 on tickets in the end, purchasing extra whenever seeing a 7Days Performance advert. Yet when watching the draw live, he still couldn't believe his name and ticket number were read out as a winner, even after a friend - also in the draw - called to congratulate him. So much so, when 7Days called Tin live on their show, he replied: 'I was watching it, I can't believe it mate. "Am I being Punked!? I don't know what to say!" He added: 'I'm not sure how many tickets I bought, maybe about a £100 worth. "I just bought some every time I saw the advert!' Tin was given a few days to mull over his decision - the home and car or the life-changing sum of money. The 38-year-old was also invited down to view the house and car he'd won for just £100 and said: 'It feels amazing. I just don't know what to say." Following consideration, he opted to pocket the half-a-million pounds payment, which he plans to use on a holiday and buy another house, with the money set to 'make things easier' for him. At the Sun we work with 7Days Performance to bring our readers the opportunity to enter competitions at a discounted price each week. These are mainly for cars, but also include rolex watches, and houses or Spanish villas. 3 Remember to gamble responsibly A responsible gambler is someone who: For help with a gambling problem, call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 or go to to be excluded from all UK-regulated gambling websites.

Strictly judge Anton du Beke tells wife to 'grow up' over 'extraordinary' issue
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Anton Du Beke has candidly shared that he once told his wife to "grow up" after she confessed her difficulty with a task many find simple. Chatting on the My Time Capsule podcast, the 58-year-old Strictly Come Dancing judge disclosed one of his biggest gripes, which centres around how people use their mobile phones. The ballroom dancing star is not at all impressed by folks who use their phone's loudspeaker in public places. He quipped that "everyone's got an earphone" and humorously noted that it's possible to "actually hold these things up to your ear". This led to a broader discussion about contemporary mobile phone habits. Anton observed that nowadays, people no longer "like to pick the phone up", something his own wife, Hannah Summers, also tends to avoid. Anton recounted: "Young people will be going, 'Phone calls? What's he talking about? We just text and email and WhatsApp. We never actually answer the phone. Are you mad?'" (Image: Anadolu Agency via Getty Images) He went on to say: "That's the new thing as well. People don't like to pick the phone up. I find that extraordinary. My wife is the same, though, really. She goes, 'Oh, I don't really like speaking on the phone'. "I just go, 'Grow up, I said. Grow up. Sort yourself out. What are you talking about?'I don't like talking on the phone'." Anton and Hannah, who tied the knot in 2017, first crossed paths at a golf club back in 2011. The couple resides in Buckinghamshire with their twins, George and Henrietta. In a bit of telly gossip, Anton, a stalwart of the BBC's 'Strictly Come Dancing' since its 2004 debut, offered a glimpse into his family life, revealing that his children "burst into tears" upon seeing him on TV for the first time. He kicked off his Strictly journey as a professional dancer and once ranked 14th globally in ballroom dancing with his partner Erin Boag. In a twist of fate, 2021 saw him hang up his dancing shoes to take up the mantle of judge, stepping in for 'Britain's Got Talent' sensation Bruno Tonioli. (Image: Getty Images for Paramount Pictu) During a chat on BBC Radio 2, he shared: "It's huge. It is wonderful. The first time my children, when they were very little, they saw me dancing on television and I was in the living room, and they saw me dancing on television and they burst into tears." Anton said they "couldn't quite grasp the concept" of him being at home and on the television, as well as "this other woman in Daddy's arms", adding that the show is a "massive part of the family". On another note, Anton once confessed to making a rather "terrible" initial impression on his now-wife. Recounting the tale on the 'White Wine Question Time' podcast, host Kate Thornton quizzed him about his early attempts to woo Hannah. Kate recounted: "Apparently the first thing she said to you was weirdo. Because you were hanging around outside a toilet at a golf club event to try and catch her eye, she thought you were odd." He responded that she did something "that you girls tend to do", saying that she "didn't look at me but looked at me". Anton went on to say she "did that thing with the hair around the ears".

Kai couldn't keep his hands off his stunning girlfriend, as she joined him to celebrate the first night of his Evolution tour. The new couple looked completely smitten with each other as they posed for the camera. At one point, Kai was seen planting a huge kiss on Chloe's cheek, as the pair went public with their romance. SMITTEN KAI It comes as Kai recently spoke about his relationship for the first time. Last month, the dancer told of how he is the "happiest" he has have ever been" and "in the best shape", before admitting he was in a "really good place." Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, Kai admitted he had "made a few changes" in his life, said: "I'm feeling really good, I don't know what it is. "2025 is the half of 10 years, I'm turning 30 in August, and as you said things come at the perfect time. "I feel very very happy and it's largely down to my other half as well." LOVE STORY The Sun revealed earlier this year, how Kai had started seeing Chloe, who is an executive assistant for a firm in the City. Strictly's kai Widdrington breaks silence on new girlfriend after Nadiya split and gushes 'i'm the happiest i've ever been' A pal said at the time: 'Chloe and Kai met in a pub in West London and hit it off from the start. 'Chloe is a great girl and has absolutely no interest in the limelight; she just likes Kai for Kai. "They have a real laugh together and although it's early days, they're planning on moving in together in the coming months. 'Kai found it very damaging to his mental health having his past relationship with Nadiya played out in public, and thankfully Chloe has no interest at all in being in the spotlight. 7 Kai is completely smitten with his new girlfriend Credit: Louis Wood 7 The pair went Instagram official in April Credit: Instagram "She also isn't a Strictly superfan which makes things easier. 'They're super-content, and Kai attributes a lot of his looking so well to being in a happier place in life thanks to her. They make a really cute couple.' Chloe, originally from Leigh-on-Sea in Essex, now lives in London. This is Kai's first relationship following his break-up from Ukrainian pro, Nadiya, whom he dated for two years. The pair launched a sell-out tour but, awkwardly, were forced to dance together nightly whilst in the process of separating. Last year Nadiya gave an interview to promote her solo tour, and confirmed she and Kai were "no longer friends".
