Meghan Trainor and her husband Daryl Sabara show off their slimmed-down frames in New York after couple both admitted to taking Mounjaro

Daily Mail22-04-2025

Meghan Trainor and her husband Daryl Sabara showed off their slimmed-down frames in New York on Monday after recently admitting to taking Mounjaro.
The power couple confidently displayed their new looks as they stepped out arm in arm on set of The Beauty.
Meghan, 31, and Daryl, 32, who share sons Riley, four, and Barry, 21 months, recently shared they are taking the weight loss drug together.
The songstress has lost an impressive amount of weight through the use of Mounjaro, the type 2 diabetes medicine.
Spy Kids actor Daryl jumped on the trend shortly after Meghan opened up about her weight loss journey.
Speaking on their Workin' On It podcast on April 10, the couple opened up about their Mounjaro use.
'We did 75 Hard after our son Riley was born and, man, did we crush,' Daryl said.
'Then, we heard more and more of our friends — and even our doctors — were on Mounjaro and Ozempic,' Meghan added.
Meghan said she decided to take Mounjaro because 'it had less side effects' than other weight-loss drugs.
'I was like, "I don't want any of that,"' and '"I know how to do it on my own,"' Meghan explained.
'I could do that, but when I asked my doctor, I was like, "Tell me everything." I did the research, and I felt safe.'
'So, I did it, too,' Daryl said before Meghan quickly quipped, 'Daryl and I both do everything together.'
'I also gained some [sympathy] pregnancy weight,' said Daryl.
'We've been on this journey for a while and we learned how there are right ways to do it,' he added.
Meghan went on to note that she and Daryl are only taking the lowest dose' possible of Mounjaro while also working out more and eating balanced, healthy meals.
'We were like, "We have to make sure we don't lose muscle that we worked so hard gaining all those years,"' Meghan explained.
'We stay in the gym, we work out, we eat right, and we just noticed that we were less hungry.'
'You have to put in the work as well' the Mother singer explained, saying that she and her husband made sure to maintain healthy lifestyle habits in addition to taking the weight-loss drug.
'We've been on this journey for a while and we learned how there are right ways to do it and there are improper ways to do it,' Daryl added.
The couple discovered a useful way to control their portion size — they eat off small plates.
'I learned all these little tricks that changed my life,' Meghan shared. 'I literally bought smaller plates 'cause I'm like, "No, you can't put too much rice on there."
She continued: 'I'm obsessed now with the science of when I work out and build muscle, you have to eat protein or else it's not going to do anything."
The All About That Bass hitmaker said she has 'no shame' about using the drug to lose weight.
Over the years, she has read countless comments dissecting her body, including in March after she was honored at the Billboard Women in Music event.
'Everyone just wants to talk about my body and we're not here about my body. I'm here about my music,' she said.
'I'm reading these comments and I go, "Oh my God, these are all bad." There was not one nice comment. Like, the meanest things I've ever been told. I look up and I just started sobbing.'
Meghan said her two of her close friends consoled her and told her she's beautiful, reminding her that people on social media aren't important.
'I just felt like a 13-year-old girl being bullied out loud in front of my whole class again,' she continued.
'Later I was so frustrated. Everyone's calling me "Ozempi Ozempi" so I'm just going to explain my journey with my health in an Instagram post and I'm never going to talk to them about it ever again on my social media.'
'Everyone, leave me alone or stop talking about my body,' she said.
'I'm really proud of myself for learning,' Meghan shared. 'It was really hard to do and I'm going to keep getting better and keep getting stronger, achieve things I never thought I could achieve and no one can stop me — not even mean comments.'

Meghan Markle is ‘social mountaineering' herself to the top & the ‘lack of authenticity is palpable', says royal expert

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) MEGHAN Markle has come a long way since being a Deal or No Deal briefcase girl - and has since starred in Suits and bagged a prince. However, royal experts have claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is 'social mountaineering' herself to the top but has a lack of 'authenticity.' The two women sat down for a chat, covering family life for Meghan and Prince Harry as well as her ventures after leaving the royal family. Speaking on The Sun's Royal Exclusive show, news commentator Samara Gill said: 'It was like the lack of authenticity in that interview was really palpable. 'Emma Greed, who was the interviewer, she's such a self-made East Londoner who actually really fought for what she has. 'She's really the brains behind a lot of big brands, the Kardashians etc, which is a little bit tawdry, but you know she really is someone who worked her way to be there. 'Meghan on the other hand really socially mountaineered her way to the top. 'So it's very difficult to take this authentic side that Emma was giving and this complete lack of authenticity that Meghan was showing in the interview, it was very hard to watch.' Royal author and broadcaster Hugo Vickers agreed, saying: 'The thing is, would nobody ever listen to Meghan Markle if it wasn't the fact she'd married Prince Harry? 'I mean the social mountaineering - because she's married to Prince Harry - it gives it a soap opera quality which seems to appeal to everybody otherwise no one would care about. 'I mean a lot of other people doing the sort of things that she does - I mean sprinkling petals over salads and stuff.' Meghan speaks out on 'baby mama dance' after vid sparked wild conspiracies Starting out in the world of acting, aged 25 Meghan landed a role as one of the briefcase girls on gameshow Deal or No Deal. The show first aired in 2005, but Meghan joined the following year for season two after successfully passing an audition. Filming up to four episodes a day, sometimes the girls took home more than $23,000 (£17,526) a week, and the intense schedules followed by weeks off allowed her time for auditions. 8 The Sun's royal editor Matt Wilkinson talking to Hugo Vickers and Samara Gill on our royal exclusive show Credit: The Sun 8 Meghan landed her role in Suits in 2011 Credit: Getty 8 The Duke and Duchess of Sussex ditched royal duties for life in California in 2020 Credit: Getty Meghan then played Rachel Zane for seven seasons of Suits after she made her debut back in 2011. Lottie Moss leaves little to the imagination in a black sheer mesh bodysuit and hot pants as she parties at BludFest Festival

Lottie Moss sent temperatures soaring in a sheer mesh bodysuit and hot pants as she arrived at BludFest Festival this weekend. The half-sister of Kate Moss, 27, showed off her incredible figure as she attended the annual music event in Milton Keynes Bowl on Saturday. All eyes were on Lottie as she playfully posed in a bodysuit, which she paired with strappy ballet pumps. The tattooed blonde bombshell turned heads in the skimpy number, which revealed her supermodel legs. Concealing her modesty, she covered her nipples with black tape and accessorised with sunglasses and a simple gold necklace. It comes after Lottie candidly revealed she always felt 'compared' to her supermodel sister Kate, and would try weight loss jabs again after suffering a seizure. The model was rushed to hospital last year after suffering the seizure as a result of taking Ozempic, which she admitted she obtained 'illegally' from a doctor. Speaking to Olivia Attwood on her ITV series The Price Of Perfection, she said: 'I think I've always really struggled with my weight since I was younger and I think modelling didn't help, and always being around these gorgeous, tall models. 'You know I'm small as well, so I was like "I've got to be at least skinny".' Talking about her sister, Lottie went on: 'I think I always felt compared to her at the beginning of my career, and I think people expected me to be kind of like a carbon copy of her as well. 'You know, cos she was getting a little bit older, she wasn't doing so much so they thought "oh perfect, now we can have a whole new Kate Moss". 'Like I felt a lot of pressure to be like her and look like her and you know, I dabbled in that party lifestyle. 'That was essentially how they stayed skinny back in the day cos they had this wild party lifestyle.' Lottie said the party lifestyle wasn't for her, so she turned her attention to weight loss jabs, which have grown in popularity. Ozempic is a diabetes medication but it is also being sold privately for weight loss, and celebrities including Sharon Osbourne, Amy Schumer, Boy George and Heather Gay have admitted to using the drug. Lottie, who obtained the jabs 'illegally', explained: 'For me, I needed to keep the weight off and I needed a quick fix and I heard about Ozempic and I thought "I might as well just give it a go". 'The way I went around it was really bad, and I shouldn't have, because it was kind of... I kinda got it in an illegal way. 'I got it from a doctor who was giving it out under a table. 'And to give it to someone without doing any tests or anything, or asking them any questions about their health is so, you know, crazy to me.' Lottie revealed she had lost between six to seven kilos after just two weeks on the drug, which she described as 'dramatic', before having a seizure. She said she didn't notice the huge drop in her weight at the time 'because you're so sick and tired all the time'. 'I felt something really weird happen as soon as I got on the bed, I had the seizure and they were holding me down,' she recalled. 'I was terrified. I honestly felt like I was dying, and it sounds really dramatic, but I've never had a seizure before.' Lottie said it 'wasn't worth it' and asked herself: 'Why did I do this to my body?' She added: 'I remember, just after I came out of the hospital, I felt good because I was so slim and I get how that feeling can be so addictive now.' Despite the impact the drug had on her health, Lottie admitted she has thought about taking it again. She told Olivia: 'I've thought about it a couple of times, I won't lie. 'I wish I could sit her and say no, honestly. I've definitely thought about it since.'

The Love Island alum previously joked how she looked like a "rolled up ham" as she tried on outfits from her 2020 series. CLAP BACK Shaughna has repeatedly been accused of using fat loss jab Ozempic. She has spoken out numerous times after followers were quick to suggest she'd had a bit of help from the controversial medication. Hitting back at the haters previously, she wrote: "NO-zempic here guys! Just an incredible eating and exercise plan. "And it didn't happen that quickly either. It actually took me over a year to lose 5 and a half Stone. And I did NOT do it alone - I had great help. But not from any kind of weight loss injection or pill. "Sad that you can't lose weight naturally now without people saying that btw. "So I do understand why there are comments saying that and I would never knock anyone for taking them but it's just not how I've chosen to do this." Popular with many Hollywood stars, Ozempic is actually a treatment for type 2 diabetes. It increases the levels of incretins – a hormone – which helps your body to produce more insulin when needed and supresses the amount of glucose produced by the liver. The jab also suppresses users' appetite - mimicking a naturally occurring hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1, which is usually released after eating. As a result patients have less of an appetite, and reduce the number of calories they eat. She has opened up on using her own plan instead and continued: "The game changer for me was the nutrition plan. I get to eat MORE now – I often used to go all day without eating and then eat crap in the evenings. "Now I'm eating throughout the day. Also instead of doing an hour's workout and thinking that will fix my disordered eating – I just do short 12 minute workouts. "And yes I have loose skin - but who wouldn't after losing 5 and a half stone and giving birth to an 8lb 8 ounce baby! "But I'm fitter than I've ever been." 6 She found fame on Love Island's 2020 season Credit: Rex 6 She has now launched her own shred and nutrition plan Credit: PA
