The Summer Game Fest 2025 has arrived and has brought with it the announcement of new games and trailers. The fest became the biggest event in the world of gaming after the long-running videogame tradeshow E3 was canceled in 2020 in wake of Covid-19.The event was launched by journalist Geoff Keighley, after E3 ended and never returned, as an alternative event for game studios and publishers to showcase their creations for journalists and day to day gamers.In the Summer Game Fest 2025, big game publishers like Sega, Bandai Namco, Capcom and Square Enix will be unveiling their latest and greatest creations. Xbox will be hosting its own full showcase on Sunday, June 9, and Playstation will be showcasing the premiere of Death Stranding 2 on Sunday night.The show will begin at 5 PM ET on Friday, June 7, and can be watched live from the YouTube Theater in Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California. The event can also be streamed live on TwitchSummer Game Fest will be multicast on numerous streaming channels, but the official livestream will be shown on YouTube by the Game Awards. The channel will continue to show the trailer for Summer Games Fest 2025 until the live event begins at 5 p.m. ET (2 p.m. PT) Friday.The official Summer Game Fest is likely to be a 2 hour event.
