On the other hand, Ahan was set to star alongside Pooja Hegde in a movie titled Sanki, backed by Sajid Nadiadwala. However, according to the reports, the project has been put on the back burner.

Jeethu Joseph confirms talks for simultaneous release of ‘Drishyam 3' in Malayalam, Hindi, and Telugu

Director Jeethu Joseph has confirmed that discussions are underway to release Drishyam 3 simultaneously in Malayalam, Hindi, and Telugu. The much-anticipated third installment of the hit thriller franchise, starring Mohanlal, is set to begin filming in October. The update came after Aashirvad Cinemas, the production house backing the film, released a teaser reel featuring a close-up of Georgekutty's eye, echoing an iconic shot from the first Drishyam. While reports suggested parallel shoots for the different versions, Jeethu noted that such a plan remains uncertain. 'The dates of the lead actors may not align for simultaneous shooting,' he explained. Mohanlal will reprise his role in the Malayalam version, while Ajay Devgn and Venkatesh are expected to lead the Hindi and Telugu adaptations, respectively.
