The home where movie character Mitch Kramer lived was listed for sale earlier this week, according to Zillow. The home is located in Northwest Austin, just off the MoPac Expressway.
"This home is as cool as it gets—and it'd be really cool if you did make it yours," the listing said, taking a line from Matthew McConaughey's character in the film, David Wooderson. "You gotta keep livin', man—L-I-V-I-N'."
The 2,137 sq ft one-story home features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two office spaces and a game room, according to the listing. The listing also said it was recently renovated.
For fans of the movie interested in purchasing the house, it's listed for $950,000.
According to Travis County records, the home was built in 1964 and has had one owner since.
"Dazed and Confused" was filmed at various locations around Austin in the early 1990s and starred McConaughey and Ben Affleck. The movie is set in 1976 and tells the story of a group of teenagers celebrating the last day of high school and all of the adventures that followed.

Matthew McConaughey & Woody Harrelson's Brothers Apple Series Pauses Production, Lee Eisenberg In Talks To Join As New Showrunner

EXCLUSIVE: Filming has been suspended on Apple TV+'s untitled brothers comedy series from Skydance Television starring and executive produced by Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, Deadline has learned. According to sources, production in Austin, TX was paused late last week, with the cast, which includes fellow stars Holland Taylor, Natalie Martinez and Brittany Ishibashi, sent home. The development, which involves the departure of showrunner David West Read, comes as eight of the series' 10 ordered episodes have been shot. Veteran comedy showrunner Lee Eisenberg (Jury Duty, Little America), who most recently created and executive produced Apple TV+'s acclaimed limited series Lessons In Chemistry, is in negotiations to come on board as showrunner for the last two episodes and likely reshoots, I hear. The makeup of the brothers comedy series is unusual — its stars/executive producers McConaughey and Harrelson are real stakeholders as the project is loosely inspired by their real-life longtime friendship. The untitled brothers series stars Harrelson and McConaughey in a heartfelt, odd couple love story revolving around their strange and beautiful bond. Matthew and Woody's friendship is tested when their combined families attempt to live together on Matthew's ranch in Texas. The cast also includes series regulars Oona Yaffe, Highdee Kuan, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton and Noah Carganilla. Skydance Television is producing the series for Apple TV+. West Read, McConaughey and Harrelson executive produce alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television and Bill Bost and Jeremy Plager. There is no return to production date set yet as the new showrunner is expected to take some time to tweak the series' creative direction. Reps for Apple TV+ and Skydance TV declined comment. It can be anything you need it to be. A plush palace for a prince, a gritty garage or the surface of Mars. But, for now, it's just a shell of a building at Austin Studios waiting for lights, camera and action. Local filmmakers expect more action on their front soon. A long-awaited state bill expected to become law soon establishes the Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Fund. It will be filled with $300 million every two years over the next 10 years. GET TO KNOW YOUR CITY Find Local Events Near You Connect with a community of local professionals. Explore All Events Filmmakers said such subsidies are crucial to attract productions here and compete with states such as New Mexico, Georgia and others. Under the bill, the minimum required in-state spending for film and TV productions remains $250,000 to be eligible for incentives. Grant payments equal 5% for projects that spend between $500,000 and $1 million in-state; 10% for projects between $1 million and $5 million; and 25% for projects that spend at least $5 million. Spending requirements start at $100,000 for digital interactive media production and commercials. At least 60% of any production must be filmed in Texas. ABJ will have in-depth coverage of the film incentives and the local filmmaking scene when the bill is signed by Gov. Greg Abbott. Visit Austin has a list of 27 big-budget productions that have been filmed in Austin over the years, from Dazed and Confused to Fear the Walking Dead.
