Ozzy Osbourne's DNA sold to fans ahead of farewell gig as he says 'clone me'
Ozzy Osbourne is flogging his DNA to a handful of dedicated fans in a bizarre move. The legendary rocker, who is no stranger to controversy, having bitten off the head of a live bat while on stage, is now giving fans the chance to "clone" him, should they wish to.
The Prince of Darkness, who next month will perform a farewell show at Birmingham's Villa Park, is hoping that fans will purchase his DNA to ensure that he lives forever. In an unexpected move, the 76-year-old has teamed up with a drinks company in order to recycle him "forever".
Ozzy struck a deal with Liquid Death, and his DNA will be available on ten limited edition iced tea cans, quite fittingly named Infinite Ozzy. The company, known for selling canned water, said: "Ozzy Osbourne is 1 of 1. But we're selling his actual DNA so you can recycle him forever."
In a promotional trailer shared on their website, the Black Sabbath rocker was seen drinking from the cans before crushing them and placing them in a sealed container. Over the video, a voiceover said: "There will never be another Ozzy Osbourne, unless you have his actual DNA.
Boots' No7 serum that 'reverses' signs of skin damage sold every 7 seconds
"Introducing Infinitely Recyclable Ozzy by Liquid Death. These cans of low-calorie iced tea with B vitamins have each been drunk by Ozzy himself. And each can contains trace DNA from Ozzy's saliva, as well as his handwritten signature. Now, once technology and federal law permits, you can replicate Ozzy and enjoy him for hundreds of years into the future.
"Just imagine if you could bring back early Eighties Ozzy. He can mow your lawn, perform at kids' birthday parties or anything you want. So get your can of Infinitely Recyclable Ozzy. No, this is not a joke, yes, these contain Ozzy's actual DNA, there are only ten available, act now."
Each can was sealed in an airtight container to "preserve the DNA." Speaking about the project, Ozzy exclaimed: "Clone me, you b******ds!" Ahead of Black Sabbath's show next month, Ozzy recently confirmed that Back to the Beginning will be available to live stream for fans who struggled to get tickets.
But while the iconic musician may be battling with his health, he has no plans to slow down ahead of the historic occasion. He recently said on his Ozzy Speaks SiriusXM show that he will be there "by hook or by crook." He said: "My head's crazy. I will have done the show and died a death before I even started my exercises. So I try and put it on the back burner.
"I'm not going up there saying 'It's going to be great. I'm really confident.' In my head I will have died on my ass, I remember being in f***ing Vegas one time being in the dressing room going, 'I'm going to play. I'm going to die'.
"And I talked myself into blowing the gig, it was only two f***ing songs. Sharon goes, 'Just don't think about it.'" But will fans see the star on his trademark throne or on a segway? That is still to be decided. "I don't f***ing know. If I'm on a throne, okay! If I'm in a f***ing movable f***ing cart, I don't know," he said.
The show will reunite the original band members – Ozzy, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward – for the first time in 20 years. The band played its "last" gig in 2017 in Birmingham with Osborne, guitarist Iommi and bassist Butler but without Ward on drums.
But last year, Ozzy was not well enough to perform at the band's Rock'N'Roll Hall of Fame induction in America. In a new interview ahead of the show, Tony admitted he has "excitement mixed with fear" ahead of the show, whilst he also confirmed rehearsals are due to start this month.
He said: "This would be a big, monumental thing if it all comes good. The worrying thing for me is the unknown. We don't know what's going to happen. Normally, when we'd tour, we'd rehearse and run through the thing for a while, and it's just us. But with this event, there are so many other moving parts."

'£21 viral Korean foundation blew me away - I'm binning all my other ones'
Korean beauty products have many beauty fans in a chokehold - and this latest foundation has sent TikTokers into a frenzy. The Korean brand Tir Tir has finally launched in the UK, stocked in Boots, and there's a reason it's going viral online. K-beauty isn't new, and Tir Tir is just one of hundreds of renowned K-beauty brands, but it's a brand that is making huge global waves. Tir Tir's philosophy is that it uses high-quality natural ingredients to develop skincare that delivers visible results. It's also the first Korean brand to have a foundation that offers 40 different shades, making it the most diverse and inclusive. The most-raved about product by far is the Mask Fit Red Cushion foundation (£21), which promises to give full coverage which a natural, semi-matte finish. The lightweight formula blends seamlessly as it conceals imperfections and evens skin tone - while also keeping skin nourished and comfortable, and with that, I was sold. I couldn't wait to get my hands on one, as someone who likes a full coverage foundation but hates feeling cakey, I knew I had to try. What also makes this unique is the application, instead of a liquid in a bottle product which we are all familiar with, it's a cushion foundation where you press the applicator into the cushion which then transfers onto the applicator which you then apply. No more spilling of a liquid, messy fingers and dirty makeup brushes as it all comes compact in one, making it the easiest foundation to bring on the go. I have always struggled to find foundations that work on my extremely combination skin. While I am oily around my t-zone, I can get dry patches on my chin which can make it pretty hard to find a good fit. I also like a full coverage foundation, and after seeing so many videos of this foundation and how seamlessly it was applied and how quickly it covered people's faces I was amazed. When I first opened the product, I couldn't understand how the cushion would release the product, and I pressed the applicator so hard into the cushion, only to realise that it really does come out a lot and just a little dab would have sufficed. We live and we learn, but as soon I did one swipe to my cheek, it covered the whole side of my face. The product really does go a long way which is what surprised me the most, as you really don't need a lot of it to cover your whole face. When it came to the coverage it was seriosuly impressive, I have a few acne scares which it completely covered, as well as my pores which is one of my biggest concerns. The only way I can describe it is that it made my skin look almost porcelain, something it has never looked like before. While it has great coverage, it's not a dewy foundation, it makes me look very matte, which meant I had to apply some highlighter - something I haven't had to do with any of my other foundations, just to give my face a bit more of a shine rather than looking like a doll. Due to it being so matte, I skipped applying my setting power, which I realised after a few hours was grave mistake. Maybe it was just my skin, but it didn't stay matte for very long, and I had to apply powder to my t-zone every few hours. Nevertheless it stayed on for the whole day with an impressive coverage. It's clear I am a huge fan of this product, and it has definitely earned a spot in my makeup bag as an every day foundation. I think I will stick with my other foundation for nights out and events as it's a bit thicker and longer lasting, but for the warm sunny days, this lightweight product is perfect. The Tir Tir Mask Fit Red Cushion foundation is available to buy online at Boots, Korean Skincare UK and you can try a sample set from Amazon.

'I found a way to get 'fresh' £29 perfume for under £5 in Boots deal'
The high street retailer has just launched its latest beauty edit, and it's a good one. Filled with premium skincare, makeup and fragrance, the limited-edition bundle is perfect for summer Boots has a real knack for putting together covetable beauty edits, but its latest Get Holiday Ready Beauty Bag might be one of the strongest yet. Priced at £32, this limited-edition bundle boasts a value of £124.50, making it a tempting offer for anyone looking to elevate their summer skincare and makeup routine without the premium price tag. Inside, there are seven mini and travel-friendly products from high-end and cult-favourite brands, all zipped up in a chic, reusable pouch. Whether you're hopping on a plane or planning a local getaway, this kit is undeniably built for on-the-go ease. As for the products themselves, well, there's some seriously impressive picks to delight skincare, makeup and fragrance enthusiasts alike. The most valuable item in the edit is Floral Street's Sunflower Pop Eau de Parfum, which is usually £29 for 10ml - that's only £3 less than the price you pay for the whole box. And it actually works out at £4.57 when you divide the number of products you get by the price you pay. Perfect for summer, it's bright, citrusy, and a definite mood-booster in a bottle. Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers, it features notes such as sweet mandarin and zesty bergamot, plum, musk and amber. It's not my usual vibe, however, I was pleasantly surprised by it's fresh scent and have found myself reaching for it on sunny days. The Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist is another fragrance in the mix, a viral sensation that has legions of fans thanks to its warm, beachy notes. If you love gourmand scents, it's a summer staple. Both the Sol de Janeiro mist and Floral Street perfume are very different, so some shoppers may not like both, however they do seem to serve different moods - plus it's nice to have the option. Boots Minis Bag Get Holiday Ready £124.50 £32.00 Boots Buy here Product Description Laneige's Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser is another standout. This K-beauty favourite is ultra-hydrating but still lightweight, ideal for post-sun exposure or long travel days. It leaves the skin feeling plump without any residue, and the 20ml size is generous for a mini. As for makeup, the Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek in Werk is the ultimate travel companion. This multitasking cream stick can be used on the eyes, cheeks and lips for a really easy, cohesive makeup look. It's perfectly pigmented, easy to apply, and gives that dewy, flushed look as though you're just back from the beach. I almost didn't recognise Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base without its iconic packaging, but truth be told, I actually like this squeezy applicator even more. This primer has earned cult status among beauty buffs and it's not hard to see why. I found it performed exceptionally well under makeup, helping everything stay fresh even after a full day out. The 15ml tube goes a long way, too - a little truly does the job. The MAC Stack Elevated Mascara Mini mascara is another great addition to the edit. It delivers impressive volume and lift, perfect for travel or topping up during a long day. My only critique is that the mini wand can feel a bit fiddly, especially for those used to a full-size applicator, but it's a fair trade for the travel convenience. Finally, there's the Rituals The Ritual Of Karma Shimmering Body Oil which gives a gorgeous glow to the skin. It's a great finishing touch for holiday evening looks, but I think it's got a relatively short window of use year-round as I'm unlikely to wear this on an average Wednesday afternoon, as I would some of the other products. That said, the edit is designed with holidays in mind, so one can't grumble too much. To help take the stress out of packing, a number of other popular high street retailers have also released travel edits, with fashion favourite ASOS offering their Luxury Travel Essentials Beauty Box. Coming in a handy travel pouch, the edit costs £40 and boasts £135 worth of products, saving £95 on the RRP. Inside, shoppers will find eight products from a range of top brands, including Elemis, Laneige, Sol de Janeiro and Elizabeth Arden. As part of the offer, each item works out at £5 apiece. Glossybox has released a brand-new Travel Beauty Kit Limited Edition - and it saves shoppers more than £120 on the contents. While the goodies inside this beauty haul are worth over £150, it can be snapped up for an impressive £30 by subscribers, or £40 by non-subscribers. Glossybox's travel kit features 12 skincare, makeup and haircare treats, five of which are full-sized. The Boots edit has received nothing but praise from shoppers, with five star reviews across the board. One wrote: 'Such a good selection of products - especially for taking away. The bag itself is also great quality. I was going to buy the cream blush and that was £22 on its own! Please bring out more edits as good as this one.' Another added: 'Great value, nice selection of items, especially liked the fragrance,' while a third wrote: 'Looking forward to using these lovely products on my holiday.' 'Absolutely love this little set,' said another. 'I wanted to try a few of these products for a while and when I saw this set for the price I instantly bought. 10/10. Bag is really spacious and will come in handy when I go on holiday.' And I have to agree with the masses, because this set really is packed with genuinely useful, luxe-feeling products that most people would be thrilled to take on holiday. The Milk, Laneige, and Floral Street products alone justify the purchase, but the entire lineup compliments each other nicely together. Shop the edit here.
