Revealing the Inspiration Behind His 'Tere Naam' Hairstyle
Comedian Kapil Sharma has made a triumphant return with the third season of The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix , which premiered its new season on June 21, 2025. The inaugural episode was a vibrant blend of laughter and celebrity banter, featuring none other than Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as the special guest. His presence brought high energy, quick wit, and characteristic tongue-in-cheek humour, setting the tone for another entertaining season.During the episode, Salman didn't shy away from poking fun at personal matters. According to a report by Koimoi, he made a sharp, albeit humorous, comment regarding his younger brother Sohail Khan's past relationship with Seema Sajdeh. The couple had tied the knot in 1998, with Seema famously eloping with Sohail just days before her arranged wedding with Vikram Ahuja. The pair enjoyed over two decades together and became parents to two sons, Yohan and Nivraan. However, their marriage ended in 2022. Presently, Seema is reportedly in a relationship with her former fiancé, Vikram Ahuja. On the comedy platform of TGIKS, Salman made light of the situation with a quick jibe, "Wo bhi bhag gayi," suggesting Seema had "run away" once again. In the same episode, Salman was asked about Aamir Khan's recent public introduction of his third romantic partner, Gauri Spratt , during his birthday celebrations earlier this year. Responding in his trademark style, Salman described Aamir as a remarkable individual and noted that his 'Andaz Apna Apna' co-star has always pursued perfection in every aspect of life. He joked that Aamir may keep getting married until he feels he has perfected the institution but expressed hope that this new relationship would be the one that truly works out."Aamir ki baat hi kuch aur hai. He is an outstanding person. Puri duniya janti hai, he's a perfectionist. Jab tak voh marriage ko perfect nahi kar leta, voh karte jayega. I think yeh last hai uska. Yeh perfect hoga. Perfect banake chhodenge," he quipped.Salman's tendency to blend humour with personal commentary isn't new. In a previous season of The Kapil Sharma Show , he humorously addressed his brothers' divorces. When asked whether his brothers had watched his then-new movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Salman remarked that despite being the eldest, his younger siblings often disregard his advice, including when it comes to relationships. Though he acknowledged that the family remains close despite their challenges, he admitted things have become more complex post-divorce.During the same appearance, Salman also shared an interesting detail about his look in the film Tere Naam. The hairstyle, which became iconic in the early 2000s, was actually inspired by the late Indian President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Salman added that actor Rahul Roy had earlier sported a similar look in one of his films.Tere Naam, directed by Satish Kaushik, remains one of Salman's most critically appreciated performances and marked the Bollywood debut of actress Bhumika Chawla. The film was a remake of the Tamil classic Sethu, originally starring Vikram.

Salman Khan Opens Up About His Relationships: "I'm 59, But I Have Had Only 3-4 Girlfriends"
New Delhi: During his recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, Salman Khan addressed the perception surrounding his relationships over the years. What Despite being linked to several actors throughout his 36-year-long career, Salman said the actual number of relationships he has had is far fewer than commonly believed. On the show, comedian Kapil Sharma joked that Salman has been "lucky" in the girlfriend department. Salman responded, "Not true, if you take my average, it is very poor. I'm 59 years old but I have had only 3-4 girlfriends. So, if you consider that, those relationships have lasted about 7-8 and even 12 years sometimes. It's a very poor average as compared to the boys and girls of this age. You know how they keep hopping from one relationship to another. So, compared to them, I am old-school." Background During the same interaction, Salman also spoke about Aamir Khan's current relationship with Gauri Spratt, following his previous marriages to Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta. Taking a humorous dig at his colleague, Salman said, "Aamir stands in a league of his own. He is an outstanding personality. The whole world knows him as a perfectionist. So, until he achieves perfection in marriage, he will keep doing it. But I think this is his last. He will achieve perfection this time. She will ensure he achieves perfection this time." In the past, Salman has been linked to actors such as Sangeeta Bijlani, Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif, Iulia Vantur, and others. He once came close to marrying Sangeeta Bijlani, but during a previous appearance on Koffee With Karan, he revealed that he called off the wedding after getting cold feet.

Salman Khan Reveals Brain Aneurysm, AV Malformation Diagnosis: "Even After This, I'm Still Working"
New Delhi: Salman Khan recently returned to The Great Indian Kapil Show as the first guest of the new season. Dismissing recent speculation about his health, the actor appeared physically fit, but revealed during the episode that he continues to deal with multiple serious medical conditions. What's Happening In a conversation with host Kapil Sharma, Salman responded to a question about marriage by referencing the difficulty of building wealth and the potential financial consequences of divorce. He expressed concern about starting over at his age if a spouse were to take half his earnings. " Hum ye jo daily ki haddiyan tudwa rahe hain, pasliyan toot gai, trigeminal neuralgia ke sath kaam kar rahe hain, aneurysm hai brain mein uske bawajood kaam kar rahe hain. AV malformation hai, uske bawajood chal rahe hain (I'm out here breaking my bones every day - ribs are fractured, I'm working despite having trigeminal neuralgia, there's an aneurysm in the brain, yet I'm still working. There's also an AV malformation, and still, I'm carrying on)," he said. He added, "All of this is going on in my life. Aur jahan unka mood satka, woh aadha humara leke chala gaya. Ye younger age mein hota toh theek tha, phirse kama lete. Ab wapis se... (And the moment their mood soured, they will take away half of what I had. Had this happened when I was younger, it would've been fine - I could've earned it all back. But now, starting over again...)" Background Salman first spoke publicly about his health in 2017 during a promotional event in Dubai for his film Tubelight, revealing that he suffers from trigeminal neuralgia, a condition often referred to as the "suicide disease" due to the intense pain it causes. The disorder affects the trigeminal nerve, leading to severe facial pain that can be triggered by simple daily activities like brushing teeth or chewing. He also revealed during the recent show that he has a brain aneurysm and an arteriovenous malformation (AVM). A brain aneurysm is a bulge in a weakened blood vessel that can lead to a potentially life-threatening hemorrhagic stroke if it ruptures. An AVM is a rare and abnormal tangle of blood vessels that disrupts normal blood flow and can result in serious neurological issues if not managed. On The Great Indian Kapil Show, Salman Khan revealed he is battling multiple serious health issues, including trigeminal neuralgia, a brain aneurysm, and an arteriovenous malformation.
