Is the cost of living crisis turning Beyoncé's UK shows into the best thing she never had? Cowboy Carter tickets are STILL available ahead of her six nights in London as prices plummet

Daily Mail30-04-2025

Everyone needs a bit of light entertainment, particularly when the news is consistently grim, inflation is consistently soaring and the price of essential goods is higher than ever.
But high quality entertainment typically comes at a significant cost, and with expendable income notably diminished as rent, food, bills, mortgages and travel expenses steadily rise, belts across the UK are tighter than ever.
Such financial uncertainties might go some way towards explaining Beyoncé's unconvincing ticket sales as she prepares for six mammoth nights at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The R&B superstar is currently two dates into an expansive 32 date tour of the United States, London and Paris in support of her latest album, the Grammy Award winning Cowboy Carter.
But unlike reformed Brit Pop legends Oasis, who prompted controversy with their exorbitant ticket prices but still managed to sell out stadiums across London and Manchester after announcing a reunion tour last year, Beyoncé has laboured to put bums on seats ahead of her return to the English capital.
As of Wednesday afternoon, tickets were still available across all six of her planned dates in London between the 6th and 16th of June, although it's worth noting that in some cases only single seats remain.
Currently the most affordable tickets - for her opening show - are available via Ticketmaster for as little as £121.70 each, with prices climbing to £159.85.
However Viagogo are offering resale seats in the stadium's Row C for an affordable £66.
Conversely, anyone wanting the best view with a spot closer to the stage in Section Club Ho-Down East will have to willing to part with £2,406 for the privilege.
The Texas Hold 'Em singer, 43, officially kicked off her 32-stadium Cowboy Carter tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Monday night.
From there, the pop superstar will perform across the US and Europe before closing out in Las Vegas on July 26.
But when it comes to shifting tickets Beyoncé is struggling compared to her previous stadium tours.
There were more than 3,000 seats available at SoFi Stadium last week, with huge numbers still available mere moments before she took the stage on Monday night, according to seat maps on Ticketmaster.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, an inside source maintained that resellers – individuals or businesses that scoop up mass amounts of concert tickets and resell them to fans for exorbitant prices – are largely to blame for limited attendance.
Still, the insider claimed Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z were remaining hopeful and are 'expecting more of her fans to buy tickets today and in the coming days if resale gets cheaper.'
'Ticket prices could be slashed the evening of some dates to fill the seats if they are noticeably empty,' they added.
There's been much speculation in recent weeks that Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour has seemingly fumbled the bag.
Shortly after the Single Ladies singer announced her tour in February, fans quickly complained about the jaw-dropping prices of tickets, which ranged from hundreds to even thousands of dollars.
But last week, one fan claimed to have found resale tickets in the nosebleed section of the star's SoFi Stadium show for as low as $20. They then compared it to the cost of one of the limited edition Minecraft Movie Big Mac Meals from McDonald's, which was around the same price point.
'Due to its low demand, Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour tickets ($20) are now cheaper than a McDonald's Minecraft meal ($21.39),' they wrote.
Another fan pointed out that some seats for the SoFi Stadium show were going for $27 at one point, although they have since increased to $37 for the cheapest seats.
'LMAO WHAT A FLOP!!' one user replied to the post.
'As a Beyhive I'm really happy that this happened, cause the prices were absolutely ridiculous in the first place,' another fan wrote.

Meanwhile, one Beyoncé fan claimed their floor ticket had been moved by the 'production team' to a different section at SoFi Stadium 'because of an obstructed view of the stage.'
In response, several users wondered whether it was because of the elaborate stage design or if they were moved simply because of small turnout.
Despite the speculation, however, the tour's promoter Live Nation confirmed in a statement to Billboard that Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour is 94 percent sold out across all dates.
Perhaps it's not high ticket prices or resellers that has deterred fans from attending, but rather the A-list couple's connection to disgraced music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
The music producer is currently sitting in a Brooklyn detention center as he awaits his May 5 trial for charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He denies the claims.
Beyoncé and Jay Z, who have been married since 2008 and share three children, were dragged into Diddy's ongoing legal woes in December when a lawsuit accused Jay-Z of raping a 13-year-old in 2000 alongside Diddy. He vehemently denied the allegation. The lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice by the alleged victim's attorney two months later in what Jay-Z hailed a 'victory.'
But that hasn't stopped those close to the Halo singer from worrying that her husband's former association with the disgraced rapper may be having an effect on her low ticket sales.
'Beyoncé isn't worried about her fans not supporting her, but some close to her are concerned about how casual listeners may have responded to the association with Diddy,' the source said.
'Beyoncé and Jay-Z see him as a thing of the past so it is irritating to some extent that being associated with him may have affected her ticket sales.'
DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Beyoncé for comment.
Despite rumors circulating about low ticket sales for her Cowboy Carter tour, the album was in fact a huge success when it was released in March last year.
Not only did it top the Billboard 200 chart, but lead single Texas Hold 'Em also hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 and the Country chart.
She took home the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, marking Beyoncé's first time winning the major category, and Best Country Album, the first Black woman to achieve this feat.

Blue Ivy, 13, enjoys shopping spree in Paris ahead of joining mum Beyoncé on stage for Cowboy Carter tour

Blue Ivy was seen soaking up some well-earned downtime in Paris ahead of her second performance in the city, where she'll join her mum Beyoncé on stage for her Cowboy Carter tour. The 13-year-old looked effortlessly stylish as she stepped out for a shopping spree at Le Bon Marché on Friday. She rocked a black Bape T-shirt paired with grey denim shorts and sleek grey trainers. Adding to her cool off-duty look, Blue shielded her eyes with chic black sunglasses and appeared in great spirits as she sampled perfumes inside the luxury department store. The nepo baby showcased her explosive choreography as she led a troupe of her mom's backing dancers in front of 70,000 fans at California 's SoFi stadium in April. With music in her genes, it seems fitting that Blue has inherited a taste not only for the industry, but also the spotlight. Now, the Daily Mail can reveal the seasoned performer wants more than to saddle up beside her mother – she wants to take the reins and pen her own body of work. 'Blue is considering starting her own career in music,' our insider said. 'Some of Beyoncé's favorite writers are quietly penning demos for her in anticipation of a solo album.' With no shortage of industry bigwigs to lean on, the youngster has reportedly sought help from her famous aunt Solange Knowles and already has tracks lined up from The-Dream, should she want them. The American songwriter and producer has long worked with Beyoncé, co-writing songs including Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) and Break My Soul from her Grammy-winning Renaissance album. He also worked with Jay-Z on his 2013 track No Church in the Wild. 'Blue is also writing material with help from Solange,' our source continued. 'The-Dream has been spearheading it, and he has two or three records for her. 'They know the fans want to hear a Blue record.' They added: 'She is only allowed to listen to age-appropriate songs from artists and has been listening to Infinity Song, Michelle Williams' Heart 2 Yours record and Goapele.' Blue Ivy's foray into solo stardom won't be her first shot at singing. The young teen, whose fan base is known as the Ivy League, had credits to her name long before reaching double digits. Dubbed 'the most famous baby in the world' by TIME, just ten days after her birth in January 2012 her coos and cries featured on her dad's track Glory. The following year she landed a credit on her mom's single Blue from her self-titled album. Aged seven, she sang on Homecoming: The Live Album – a collection of recordings from Beyoncé's record-breaking Coachella 2018 set – performing her own rendition of hymn Lift Every Voice and Sing. 'I want to do it again… I want to do it again,' she says at the end of the track. 'It feels good!' And do it again she did. In 2019 she became the youngest female artist to chart on the Hot 100 after featuring on her mom's single Brown Skin Girl – a title she later lost to her sister Rumi after she joined Beyoncé on Protector last year. The credit also earned Blue a Grammy and the Guinness World Record for youngest individually credited person to receive one of the famous gold-plated gongs. Soon followed a cascade of accolades, all before she had started secondary education, as well as a spot on her mom's record-breaking Renaissance World Tour - which saw her criticised for her moves. In 2023 she finally showcased her singing live on stage in Dubai with a duet with her mom who was making her return to the stage for the first time in four years. The one-hour set earned the pop superstar a reported $35 million. And Blue Ivy could challenge her mom's fortune if she is able to shake the nepo baby tag and deliver real talent. 'Blue Ivy could easily secure multi-million-dollar deals, lucrative brand partnerships, and significant earnings from streaming platforms and endorsements right from the start,' said PR expert Stacy Jones Founder and CEO, Hollywood Branded. 'Think Olivia Rodrigo or Billie Eilish, but amplified due to her family background. 'Could she become as big as Beyoncé? Honestly, that's an extraordinarily high bar, but if Blue Ivy delivers real talent, authenticity, and genuinely connects with fans, especially Gen Z, there's no reason she couldn't carve out her own substantial legacy.'

Dua Lipa 'blown away' as she becomes emotional during sold-out Wembley show

EXCLUSIVE: Dua Lipa was overcome with emotion as she took to the stage for her first sold-out concert at Wembley Stadium on Friday, admitting it had always been her dream Dua Lipa was overcome with emotion as she fulfilled her ultimate dream. The global mega-star has had a fast rise to fame since she first emerged in the music industry, and she's showing no signs of slowing down. On Friday, she headlined Wembley Stadium for the first time on the first of two nights at the home of English football, before moving on to Anfield in Liverpool. But the British and Albanian star couldn't believe what was happening as she addressed the sold-out crowd who'd flocked to north-west London to see her perform. ‌ Fans had been camping out at the stadium since Thursday, hoping to get to the very front row to see their idol deliver her biggest hits. Addressing the crowd, Dua said: "It means the absolute world to me that you're here tonight. It feels really special to be here today." ‌ The Levitating songstress continued: "It's been ten years since our first ever London show, which happened to be about 350 people, and I dreamt of a night like this that I get to be in front of 70,000 people. I'm so, so blown away." Dua, who joins a small club of female solo artists to headline the stadium, reflected on her career, admitting she believes one song changed her life, after she was signed to her management and record label. That song was Hotter Than Hell, which was fitting as the UK enjoyed its hottest day of the year. But Dua made sure to pull out all the stops for her first night at the iconic venue with a special guest appearance from Jamiroquai. Dua and Jamiroquai performed an incredible duet of the 1996 hit, Virtual Insanity, for her Radical Optimism tour. Vocalist Jay Kay was rocking a classic black hat with a purple trim and a white fringe jacket for the surprise performance, along with purple trousers. Fans were over the moon with the shock guest and rushed to social media to share their excitement, with one user revealing they "wish" they were at the concert in London to witness the duet. The Londoner joins Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Adele, P!NK and Rihanna as one of the few women to have headlined the stadium. She performed her anthems, including Training Season, One Kiss, Levitating, Physical, Electricity, New Rules, Be the One, Don't Start Now and Houdini. ‌ Dua was just 17 when she was first discovered by her long-term manager, Ben Mawson, who said the singer has "it all." Speaking to Music Week in 2020, he revealed: "Dua told me she aspired to be Madonna when I met her, when she was 17, and there was something about the way she said it that made me believe her! "It was about her personality, her charisma, her competitiveness and her drive, and that came across. Dua's got it all, so she's unlimited potential." The singer rose to fame with her 2016 hit Be The One followed by her 2017 break-up anthem, New Rules. Since then, she has won several Brit Awards and three Grammys and headlined Glastonbury Festival last year shortly after the release of her third studio album Radical Optimism, which hit number one on the UK albums chart. Her 2020 Future Nostalgia album also reached number one, while her debut self-titled album, Dua Lipa, reached number three. She is the youngest person to feature on this year's Sunday Times 40 Under 40 Rich List, making her one of the wealthiest musicians in the UK. The singer was recently named the most played artist across radio, TV and public places in the UK for a second time by music licensing company Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL).
