Aide Who Was Sean Combs's ‘Right Hand' Draws Scrutiny at His Trial
For years, anyone who wanted access to Sean Combs had to go through Kristina Khorram first.
An employee at his company since 2013, becoming his chief of staff in 2020, Ms. Khorram was the mogul's 'right hand,' as he once called her. Before leaving her role in the last year, she commanded a rotating army of personal assistants for Mr. Combs and was the central go-between for his multifaceted business empire.
While much of her work related to Mr. Combs's businesses, she also made doctor's appointments for his girlfriends. Made sure their rent was paid. Apprised them of the boss's daily moods.
'Don't know how I'd function without her,' Mr. Combs wrote in a Facebook shout-out in 2021.
The actions of Ms. Khorram and others who worked for Mr. Combs over the years are now being scrutinized in federal court, where prosecutors are trying to convince jurors that Mr. Combs is guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, asserting that he ran a 'criminal enterprise.'
Ms. Khorram, 38, has not been charged in the case, has not been called as a witness and has denied wrongdoing in the past. But her presence is woven through various accounts given at the trial of wrangling hotel logistics for the sex marathons that are at the heart of the case, or of arranging for drugs to be transported by plane to the music mogul.
'Her duties as Mr. Combs's chief of staff were extremely broad,' Meredith Foster, a prosecutor, told the judge this month. 'They involved setting up hotel nights,' she added, 'facilitating the transportation of narcotics, various items such as that.'
During the trial, prosecutors have described the behavior of various bodyguards and staff at Mr. Combs's companies, as well as Ms. Khorram, as they argue to the jury that the conduct of the employees was not just the work of dutiful assistants, but of racketeering co-conspirators.

6 injured in Moreno Valley shooting
A shooting in Moreno Valley left six people injured late Saturday night, according to authorities. The Riverside County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon at about 10:17 p.m. in a parking lot in the 12100 block of Orchid Lane. Upon arrival, deputies found five people with what they described as "injuries consistent with gunfire." All five of those victims were transported to a local hospital, where they remain in critical condition. At the hospital, a sixth person suffering from a gunshot wound was found. Authorities later determined that their injuries stemmed from the same shooting. No arrests were made as of Sunday morning. Authorities didn't immediately release any details regarding a suspect. Giants pitcher Sean Hjelle addresses abuse allegations made against him originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area SAN FRANCISCO — Giants reliever Sean Hjelle addressed accusations of abuse made by his wife on social media, saying he's still in the process of trying to figure the situation out. Hjelle didn't get into specifics and said he plans to release an official statement on the matter in the coming weeks. 'I feel confident in saying that I will have one eventually,' Hjelle said following San Francisco's 3-2 win over the Boston Red Sox at Oracle Park. 'I don't have an exact timeline on that but I would like to actually get with the people that are handling the situation with me and for me before I make an actual statement.' Caroline Hjelle's post on TikTok on Friday included a caption that read: 'When my MLB husband abandons us on Mothers Day a week after this (video was taken) once I finally found about his affairs and stopped putting up with his abuse, so I've been raising two boys alone.' According to Hjelle, the couple have not been together for awhile and have been in the process of divorcing for about a year. Clerical and legal procedures have held matters up. 'We reached an agreement in mediation this offseason,' Hjelle said. 'In the state of Virginia we had to wait a full year of separation, which was filed last May. So the official divorce decree has been delayed because of me starting in Sacramento, and per the terms of the agreement there were some nuances and what not. 'So that part has actually been delayed. But for all intents and purposes the divorce is a signature away from being officially finalized.' The Giants released a statement earlier Saturday acknowledging that Major League Baseball has begun investigating the incident. Hjelle hadn't spoken publicly about it until Saturday and wants to wait until he gathers more information before making any further comments. 'I would like to talk with my agent, my lawyer,' Hjelle said. 'This has been something that's been going on for over a year now in terms of our relationship and our divorce and our separation and everything. But I don't have any official comment right now. Shooting at Juneteenth festival in Tulsa leaves 1 dead, 7 injured
Gunfire broke out at a Juneteenth celebration Saturday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma, killing one person and wounding seven others, according to police and the organizers of the event. No arrests have been made. The 2025 Tulsa Juneteenth Festival took place in the city's Greenwood district, historically home to the affluent community known as "Black Wall Street" and, now, part of the Oklahoma State University campus. It consisted of a series of programs held over multiple days, with a runway show scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. local time Saturday evening. A national holiday observed on June 19 each year, Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrations around the country tend to be weeklong. Officers working at the Tulsa festival heard gunshots at around 11 p.m. Saturday, while the event was still busy, the Tulsa Police Department said, adding that "chaos erupted as people began running in multiple directions." A 22-year-old man was killed in the shooting, according to the police department. Seven others were injured, including a 17-year-old and an elderly woman. Police said all were taken to local hospitals for treatment. At least one 24-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition early Sunday morning, according to police. Police responded to a shooting that broke out during a busy Juneteenth celebration near downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday night. Police said they believe at least two different shooters are responsible, but no arrests have been made, and their intended targets were unclear.
