New Toto game with fixed prizes to start in Singapore with June 12 draw

SINGAPORE: A new fixed-bet game called Toto Match will be launched by Singapore Pools starting with its June 12 draw, as the lottery operator looks to 'adapt to evolving market trends'.
On its website, the company said the launch comes in 'response to consumer preferences for a fixed-payout model in the Toto game'.
Unlike the traditional Toto game, where players can win a jackpot prize, Toto Match pays out a fixed prize amount per dollar bet. Therefore, a higher bet will translate into a bigger payout.
To play, punters can place bets under two game types. They may play either one or both.
The first requires players to pick between two and four numbers from one to 49. They will win if all their selected numbers are included in the six winning numbers for that particular Toto draw.
For this type, prizes differ based on how many numbers the player selects in one bet. For every dollar bet, players can win $50 for two matched numbers, $500 for three numbers and $7,000 for four numbers.
In the second game type, players can choose one number from one to 49. They will win $30 for every dollar bet if this number matches the additional number for that Toto draw.
For example, a player who bets $2 on the 'match additional number' game will receive a payout of $60 if the chosen number is drawn.
Players must place a Toto Match bet to be eligible for a prize. Placing a normal Toto bet will not qualify for a prize.
Singapore Pools said on June 3 that it found that there has been a growing interest in fixed odds-style games.
'Some bettors were turning to illegal operators for such games because of the lack of many legally available fixed-odds bet types,' it added.
'With the introduction of Toto Match, we aim to offer our customers a safe, regulated and trusted channel to participate in fixed-odds betting.'
Sales for Toto Match will be available at all Singapore Pools branches and authorised retail outlets from June 10. - The Straits Times/ANN

However, relying on a partner often hindered her quest for peak performance. "The nature of sports dance requires a partner, and throughout my training, I've experienced many. Some partners stayed for five years, while others were only temporary," Uyen said. "Each time I switched partners, it felt like starting over, which was challenging – especially when others advanced while I had to begin anew." Yet, her passion for dancing propelled her forward. "I love the thrill of stepping onto the competition floor, so I sought every opportunity to compete," Uyen added. During her most challenging times, she found a timely ally in Trang, who encouraged her to pursue solo performances. "Once the solo category was introduced by the World DanceSport Federation, I realised Uyen had the potential to conquer major events. I planned her training meticulously, preparing her for both domestic and international competitions, and she consistently delivered outstanding results," Trang said. With the coach's support and her own relentless determination, Uyen embraced the challenges of returning to the starting line, maturing in her craft and reaching new heights. "Uyen has always been eager to stay on the dance floor and pursue new goals. She actively seeks opportunities to grow in her profession," Trang said. The accomplishment at the Bremen event is a testament to her unwavering effort and courage. "When Uyen stepped up to receive her award, I felt an overwhelming sense of pride. I am proud to have detected her potential and guided her to this pinnacle of world sports dance," Trang said. 'It could take up to 40 business days for refunds to be processed.' The concert would have been Cabello's first in Singapore. She is due to perform in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on Aug 14, as part of the Yours, C tour. She will also perform in Osaka, Tokyo, Jakarta and Bangkok in August as part of the line-ups of several music festivals. Paris Hilton buys US$63mil Beverly Park mansion from Chinese billionaire's family after losing Malibu home in wildfire
HANOI (Vietnam News/ANN): American socialite Paris Hilton has purchased a US$63 million Beverly Park estate from a firm controlled by Chinese billionaire Xu Hang's wife after losing her Malibu home in the Los Angeles wildfires. According to People magazine, Hilton's newly acquired property spans 30,500 square feet (2,834 square meters) and includes 12 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms. The estate also features high-end amenities such as a five-hole golf course, resort-style pool with waterslides, a sports court, skate park, wine cellar, movie theater, two-story library, and a grand entry with twin staircases. A guesthouse also sits on the grounds. The mansion was originally developed by American actor Mark Wahlberg and his wife around 2014. In Feb. 2023, the couple sold it for US$55 million—the highest residential sale in Southern California that year. Xu purchased the estate, and his wife's company relisted it in March 2024 with an asking price of US$68 million, according to real estate listings site Mansion Global.
