Steven Gerrard in expletive Rangers video vow as emotional ex boss turns air blue and clamps Celtic

Daily Record03-05-2025

The Ibrox hero is out of work after getting the sack at Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq in January
Ex Rangers boss Steven Gerrard sent fans wild after a video clip was shared of him declaring his "f**** love" for the club.
Talk of a managerial return for Gerrard at Ibrox has never gone away - and the Liverpool legend has added some fresh weight to that rumour with the two pieces of footage shared on social media from a night out.

Gerrard is out of work after leaving Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq earlier this year and has stated that he will be in no rush to return to management.

But with 49ers Enterprises takeover of Gers at Ibrox almost complete, the incoming owners may look to bring in a high-profile managerial appointment, and some supporters are already calling for Gerrard to come back.
The England hero led the Light Blues to the Premiership title in 2021, going the whole season unbeaten and stopping rivals Celtic's quest for 10 in a row right at the death.
Gerrard jumped ship to Aston Villa six months later and while things haven't worked out too well for him on the touchline since his Ibrox exit, the former midfield general remains a favourite with the bookies to have a second stint as Rangers manager.
And in two clips that has been widely circulated on X, the 44-year-old has once again shown his affection for the club.
In the first clip, Gerrard is asked by a Celtic fan to record a short message for another supporter and offers an x-rated response, saying: "Listen Debbie, this f****** mushroom is a Celtic fan.
"We f****** love Rangers. F*** Debbie I love Rangers."

And in another club, Gerrard goes one step further, shouting: "up the Teddy Bears" after being filmed by another supporter who attempts to sing "You'll Never Walk Alone", a song that is synonymous with both Celtic and Liverpool.

Mick Kennedy and Si Ferry's men defeated Bonnyrigg Rose in the playoff final to make it into the SPFL for the first time in the young outfit's short history. Ahead of the huge campaign the transfer business is already well underway. Ex-Kelty Hearts and Partick Thistle midfielder James Lyon, East Fife's Jack Healy, and star of Edinburgh City and Love Island Ouzy See have signed up. They also snapped up 6ft 4in Slovakian centre half Erik Sula who was most recently at Stirling Albion. But the latest signing is very different and EKFC had some thinking they'd pulled off a massive coup to sign ex-Ibrox star John Lundstram! They posted a clip on social media of the Englishman's goal which completed a stunning European comeback against German side RB Leipzig back in May 2022. The 3-2 victory on aggregate saw them through to the final of the competition in which they were defeated by Eintracht Frankfurt on penalties. The video - shared with the classic signing teaser caption of eyes and pen emojis - had supporters saying 'no chance surely' and 'I don't understand'. But it was all made clear soon after as the club confirmed that commentator Callum Patterson is returning to K-Park. Mick Kennedy & Si Ferry in dreamland as play-off win sparks wild pitch invasion as East Kilbride plot rise through SPFL His voice can be heard in the Rangers clip describing the moment: "Keeper's made a mess of this, oh and it's going to go in, it's Lundstram! "And Rangers have got a third goal, they're back in front in the tie! "John Lundstram slides his knees into the corner, into the fans!" EKFC said in their post they're 'thrilled' to welcome him back to commentary duties for match highlights, bringing a 'wealth of experience' with him. One replied that it was the 'strangest announcement I've seen', while another commented: "Teaser video for a commentator, Scottish football never change." 'Molly-Mae's closest friends and members of her family think this is a terrible idea and that it is all going to end in tears again,' the source said. The reconciliation has also infuriated Molly's older sister, Zoe, who has been vocal about her fears for Molly's future and how she believes Tommy's issues with alcohol could cause problems again. And that in turn has allegedly rubbed Tommy's family, including boxer brother Tyson and his wife Paris, up the wrong way. However, the couple have firmly put that rumour of her feud with her mother to sleep - following their day out with Debbie. Mother and daughter were both dressed in stylish black outfits paired off with sunglasses. While Tommy wore a CrossFit T-shirt, grey shorts and sliders. It comes days after Molly-Mae posted an emotional tribute to baby-daddy Tommy gushing he was "made to be a dad" following the pair's reunion. Following the launch of her latest Maebe fashion collection, the mum of one took to her Stories to upload a snap showing Tommy's celebratory cake emblazoned with the phrase: "Love you daddy." It sat perched on a table filled with images of him and Bambi, as well as a piece of painting art created by the tot. Watch moment Molly Mae admits she 'feels sick' watching back her Love Island audition with Tommy Fury The influencer then shared a black and white snapshot showing daddy and daughter cuddling in bed, with Molly-Mae posting a sweet message alongside it which read: "You are the most patient, calm, kind and loving daddy ever. "Watching the way you love our little girl is one of my favourite things in the world ... it's completely unconditional. "You were truly made to be a dad. Happy Father's Day." The Filter tan brand founder - who split briefly with Tommy last year - then posted a candid snap showing the trio in bed. Bambi was seen snuggling up to her dad, who was fast asleep. Recently the little family also enjoyed a getaway to a stunning Cotswolds retreat. The family stayed at the luxury Estelle Manor, where rooms start from £700-a-night. Molly-Mae's images at the time showed off the venue's amazing pool area and some of the views. The couple split up last summer but shared a New Year's Eve kiss and then headed off on a loved-up trip for Valentine's Day last month. After months of keeping fans guessing, last month Molly gave her followers an update on her and Tommy. The couple then revealed they have rekindled their romance and make things official during the recent part of Molly-Mae's Amazon docuseries later last month. During episode six, Molly revealed that she and Tommy were back on. In January, Tommy revealed his battle with booze was behind their break-up. 9 Molly-Mae looked stylish in her tonal outfit Credit: mancpicss66 9 Tommy was wearing a CrossFit Glasshouse shirt and shorts Credit: mancpicss66 9 Molly Mae, Tommy and Debbie attending to Bambi Credit: mancpicss66 9 Zoe has been vocal about her fears for her sister's future Credit: instagram/@zoerae/ 9 Molly-Mae's dad Stephen is also alleged to have concerns about the pair's reunion Credit: Instagram

Nectarios Triantis holds 'positive' Hibs transfer talks as David Gray provides Rocky Bushiri update

Leith fans are desperate to see the Aussie sign on a permanent transfer after helping drive them to third place last season Hibs head coach David Gray insists talks to sign Sunderland star Nectatrios Triantis on a permanent deal are progressing well. The versatile Aussie midfielder initially arrived in second half of the 2023/24 campaign but it was last season that the 22-year-old really found his groove, scoring three times in 28 matches in all competitions to help the Hibees claim a third place finish in the Premiership. ‌ Gray has already bolstered his squad this summer with the arrivals of Jamie McGrath on a free transfer from league rivals Aberdeen and the capture of Austrian goalkeeper Raphael Sallinger. ‌ But fans in the capital will be desperate to see Triantis - who was nominated for the SWFA Player of the Year last month - return despite Sunderland 's promotion back to the Premier League and Gray reveals that 'positive talks' are ongoing. The former Easter Road captain also says they remain hopeful of tying down out of contract defender Rocky Bushiri to a new deal. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "He is another one who had a fantastic season. You seen how much he improved last year, playing week-in, week out. "His parent club have just got promoted to the Premier League and their are conversations going on. "Clearly he was a big part of what we done last year and it is a position that we are going to need to fill. "There is conversations going on there that are positive at the minute but you always need to be proactive and making sure that you are trying to get your work in as early as you can." ‌ "Rocky is someone who clearly had a fantastic season last year. "His season got prolonged because he had to go away with his national team but positive talks are happening all the time. ‌ "We are trying to get something done there and we'll just have to wait and see how it pans out in the next few days." Hibs have banked £900,000 from the sale of forward Dylan Vente to Heerenveen and Gray knows they still have work to do on the recruitment front across the board with next month's Europa League second round qualifier with FC Midtjylland on the horizon. "The support we have had (from the board) has been incredible and will continue to be there. "We know we need to do work in the window and we are working hard to do that. "It's about making sure we get the right people in to add to the good group we have already got.
