Jacob Elordi 'Was Going to Take a Break' Before "Wuthering Heights" Role

Jacob Elordi was ready for some time off until the opportunity for "Wuthering Heights" came.
Shooting for "Wuthering Heights" recently wrapped in the U.K., and it's Elordi's second collaboration with the director Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman, The Danish Girl), since 2023's "Saltburn". So, when it came to casting for the project, the actor was able to skip the audition part.
'I was really lucky. I was going to take a break for a while, and then Emerald just very simply texted me, and you can't run from that text,' Elordi told

The movie stars Margot Robbie opposite Elordi, and is an adaption of Emily Brontë's novel of the same name, which follows the tumultuous relationship between Catherine Earnshaw (Robbie) and Heathcliff (Elordi) that's passionate and intense after meeting at the eponymous residence and the impact the relationship has on their families.
The actor teased what it was like to work closely with the Barbie actress. 'She's incredible in the film, she's a livewire. I'm so, so excited for people to see it,' he said. 'She's a beautiful actor and she gave so, so much.'
Elordi has Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein" coming out later this year and is currently filming the highly anticipated third season of HBO's "Euphoria".
Robbie, meanwhile, has "A Big Bold Beautiful Journey", in which she stars alongside Colin Farrell, set to premiere in September.
"Wuthering Heights" is set to release from Warner Bros. in February of next year. Robbie's production company LuckyChap Entertainment is producing.

Jon Bernthal Returning as The Punisher for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day"
Yara Sameh The Punisher is back. Jon Bernthal will be suiting up as the vigilante once again for 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day,' Sony and Marvel's latest web-slinging adventure. Becky G to Perform at Mawazine Festival
Yara Sameh The annual Mawazine Festival in Rabat, Morocco has confirmed several high-profile artists for its June 2025 edition, including the Mexican American superstar Becky G. Running from June 20 to 28, the festival—held under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI—will take over Rabat and neighboring Salé, offering fans nine days of live music from across the globe. Organizers from Maroc Cultures announced the initial lineup on social media, promising a 'high-quality program filled with surprises.' Becky G will perform on June 25 at the OLM Souissi stage, a major venue known for hosting top international acts.
