Iranian FM: Negotiations will be conducted indirectly

Saba Yemen08-04-2025

Algeria - Saba:
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has reiterated that talks with the United States will be held in the Sultanate of Oman on Saturday, explaining that these negotiations will be conducted indirectly, and that no other method of negotiation will be accepted.
He told reporters on Tuesday during his visit to Algeria that the nature of the negotiations, whether direct or indirect, is not of primary importance; what truly matters is whether the negotiations are effective or ineffective, and the seriousness, intentions, and will of the parties to reach an agreement.
Araqchi added: "In this context, we believe that the form of negotiations is subject to various issues, and that is why we chose indirect negotiations."
He explained, "The reason for this choice is that negotiations in which they impose their views through pressure and threats are in fact dictates, and we do not believe in this approach. Therefore, indirect negotiations can ensure a real and effective conversation, and we will continue in this manner as well."
Araqchi also clarified that the Sultanate of Oman is the mediator, expressing his confidence in the Sultanate as a mediator due to its good track record. He also expressed his hope that the other party has a serious will to reach a diplomatic solution, which is what matters in the negotiations.
He added: "We seek to ensure the interests of the Iranian people, and our nuclear program is peaceful and entirely legitimate. Security Council Resolution 2231 also affirmed the legitimacy of our program. Therefore, there is no doubt about this program from an international perspective."

Iranian 'Cyber Support Front' announces attack on Israeli Weapons of mass destruction factory

Tehran – SABA: The Iranian 'Cyber Support Front' announced on Saturday that it had carried out a cyberattack on an Israeli factory involved in producing weapons of mass destruction. In a statement reported by Iran's Tasnim News Agency, the front said it had monitored and infiltrated the CR Casting / EXACT company for a long time—companies that have supported the Zionist criminals in the manufacturing of weapons of mass destruction. The statement added: 'CR Casting and its affiliated factories are involved in precision metal casting and production of sensitive components for the military and defense industries, including companies like Elbit, Rafael, and IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries), which are associated with the Zionist entity. They manufacture parts used in offensive and defensive missiles, tanks, helicopters, and Israeli aircraft that are used in brutal attacks on civilians.' It continued: 'With support from freedom-fighting hackers around the world, the front managed to expose these factories and their inhumane activities, launching multiple cyberattacks to penetrate, disrupt their systems and production, and obtain their sensitive data.' Baghaei: France, Germany's stance toward Zionist entity makes them complicit in its crimes

Tehran – Saba: The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Saturday that no country in the world has violated international law as openly as the Zionist entity, and the main reason for this is the regime's constant sense of complete impunity for its crimes. Iran's Mehr News Agency quoted Baghaei as saying that indifference leads to inaction, and inaction in the face of injustice is complicity with it. He added, "The entire international community, and every member state of the United Nations, bears a clear responsibility to stand up against this injustice, because the prohibition on the use of force is a fundamental principle of the UN Charter, as clearly stated in Article 24 of the Charter." Baghaei pointed out that the Zionist regime violated this principle, explaining: "At the same time, this aggression was accompanied by a series of war crimes and crimes against humanity. The Zionists deliberately and brutally targeted residential areas, hospitals, and fire stations. They killed civilians, including distinguished university professors, children, and women. Countless victims were martyred as a result of this aggressive act." He said: "In my opinion, what is at risk now is the entire structure of international law. If you look at the eight decades of the existence of the Israeli regime, you will not find another party that has violated international law, international humanitarian law, and international human rights law in such a blatant manner. In my opinion, the main reason is that the Israeli regime has always felt completely immune from punishment for its crimes. Therefore, the international community has every right to blame Israel's supporters and backers." The Foreign Ministry spokesman addressed the reactions of European countries to the crimes of the Zionist regime, saying: "Look now at the position of France and Germany; instead of condemning this aggression, they are trying to justify these aggressive acts. This makes them complicit partners in Israel's crimes, and they must be held accountable for this position." He added, "For the Iranians, this reminds us of bitter experiences from the past, for example, when we were subjected to a chemical gas attack by Saddam Hussein, and everyone knows that these chemical weapons were manufactured with the help of Germany, the Netherlands, and some other Western countries." Baghaei added, "Instead of apologizing for their past actions against Iran, the German Foreign Minister used the very ugly word 'dirty wars' to justify Israel's actions against Iran. It is truly shameful for Germany to stand with a criminal aggressor. They must remember that the Zionist entity has previously committed horrific crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, and that it is an apartheid regime." He continued, "Israel's aggressive war against Iran is not just against a state, but against a civilization. It is not just against one country, but against the entire region, diplomacy, and peace. That is why all the countries of the region have condemned this operation with one voice, because everyone is concerned about the consequences of this war." "Israel" has always been keen to drag others into its wars, and it has become accustomed to waging its wars at the expense of others, including American taxpayers." Baghaei concluded his statement by saying, "A few days ago, someone asked me, 'Do you think President Donald Trump will win the Nobel Peace Prize?' I replied, 'If anyone truly deserves the Peace Prize, it is Benjamin Netanyahu, who managed to deceive all of America and drag it into his war.'"
