ANY TEKKERS? Soccer AM's iconic celeb penalty shootout inspires new comedy series produced by huge TV comedian
SINCE Sky's Soccer AM left our screens two years ago, its celebrity penalty shootout has been much missed.
But I can reveal the fan-favourite format has now inspired a copycat segment from Graham Norton's So Television.

Just like Sky's original version, the new series will see a line-up of big names stepping up to the penalty spot to try to score.
But with comedian Chloe Petts in charge of proceedings, it will feature fellow comics only.
So far stars including Nish Kumar and Harriet Kemsley are on the team sheet.
A source said: 'Penalties frequently provide some of the funniest moments in football, so adding comedians to that mix will bring about endless laughs.

'Soccer AM had big names like Stormzy, Ed Westwick and Louis Tomlinson desperate to be involved so everyone is very excited that this new spin-off could run and run.
"Chloe Petts is a genuine football fan and brings a wealth of knowledge, as well as humour. Filming begins this week in London and everyone can't wait to see how it turns out.'
In an increasingly common move, the series is first heading to YouTube.
The source added: 'This kind of content lends itself brilliantly to a short-form media and so will live online for now.'

Soccer AM ran for 29 years on Sky until it was shelved in May 2023 due to falling ratings.
As well as the penalty spot, other segments included the Nutmeg Files, Unbelievable Tekkers and the Crossbar Challenge.
Plenty of comedic inspiration there too, I'd say.

Former Sky presenter Dermot Murnaghan, 67, reveals stage 4 prostate cancer

Sky News presenter Dermot Murnaghan has revealed he has prostate cancer (Picture:for Sky News) Dermot Murnaghan, a former Sky News presenter, has revealed he has stage 4 prostate cancer. The broadcaster joined Sky in 2007 and presented a variety of news programmes over the years before leaving in February 2023. Taking to social media this morning, the 67-year-old wrote: 'Some personal news……I've been diagnosed with Stage IV advanced prostate cancer I'm fortunate to have a simply outstanding medical team looking after me, who I can't thank enough – they are administering the best possible care with expertise, compassion and sensitivity.' He continued: I'm responding positively to their excellent treatment, and feeling well. I'm blessed to be fortified by the monumental love and support of my wife, family and close friends. 'Needless to say my message to all men over 50, in high risk groups, or displaying symptoms, is get yourself tested and campaign for routine prostate screening by the NHS. 'Early detection is crucial. And be aware, this disease can sometimes progress rapidly without obvious symptoms. Details @ProstateUK @PCR_News.' Murnaghan concluded by saying he hopes to take part in Sir Chris Hoy's charity bike ride in Glasgow in September, asking his followers to donate and support if possible. The Olympic cyclist, 49, also has prostate cancer, having shared in October last year that his condition was terminal and he had two to four years to live. Molly-Mae says she's 'not cut out' for parenting in heartbreaking Bambi update

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague questioned whether she's 'cut out' for parenting after struggling with her daughter Bambi's tantrums Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague admitted she's 'not cut out' for parenting after her two-year-old daughter Bambi, who she shares with Tommy Fury, refused to eat anything for three days. In her recent YouTube vlog, the 26-year-old Maebe founder said she is "selfish" as she discussed the stresses of motherhood. The TV personality and businesswoman confessed to having "one of those days" as she told her followers: "I'm having one of those days, toddler mum days, where I question, 'am I actually cut out for this?' ‌ "When I watch people's videos and hear them talking about motherhood and how much every single minute they love it, and I sit there and think, 'is there something wrong with me as a mum?'." ‌ She added: "I can't sit there and say that every single minute I love it and I'm having one of those days. I don't even know if I'll put this in the video but I'm having one of those days where this is really not fun. 'Not all of it is enjoyable. I don't know how to explain it.' She went on to explain that she was having "one of those days" where she was finding dealing with daughter Bambi "impossible, absolutely impossible". 'Every single thing I try and ask her to do, she will not listen to me," Molly-Mae said. "She literally on purpose will do the opposite of everything I say or ask. The simplest things, she hasn't eaten in like three days because she is refusing to eat. I'm finding it really, really hard. "Just simple things, there's been a new carpet put down at Tommy's house and we don't want to wear new shoes on the carpet, but telling her to take off her shoes and not walk on the carpet, it's the biggest tantrum and meltdown you've ever seen. ‌ 'She screams that much and gets that upset…I'm in this constant battle of I don't want to spoil them and let them win and not discipline them but also, where do you draw the line and give in because she's screaming so much that I'm not going to win this one.' Molly-Mae said she found parenting to be "literally impossible" and asked fans whether she should be "finding it as hard as I do sometimes". "I want to give Bambi a sibling, but the idea of this times by two, I don't know if I could ever do it. I don't know if I'm cut out for it," Molly-Mae continued. ‌ 'The fact that there's mums out there that do it with zero support from any family or anyone and have multiple children…the concept of having multiple children, I can't even. I don't know how anybody does that. I just don't. 'I want to have another baby at some point because I want to give Bambi a sibling, but the idea of this times by two, I don't know if I could ever do it. "I don't know if I'm cut out for it.'

Vienna Würstel, who lives in Majorca, Spain, and is widely known for her huge pout, claimed that strangers call her extreme lips 'ugly', but doesn't plan to stop the filler anytime soon. The influencer began cosmetic procedures at the age of just 18, when she first got lip filler and now, her body has 'more plastic than body fat.' She has had multiple procedures and surgery to achieve her unique look, including a breast augmentation, a lip lift, an eye lift, a BBL, as well as cheek and chin implants. In total Vienna has spent around $160,000 [£119,565] on surgery and $50,000 [£37,365] just for her lips. So dedicated to her plumped-up pout, Vienna jets from Majorca to Frankfurt to get her filler fix, as she explained: "I get lip filler sometimes every week, mostly it's between two and four weeks. 'I want them really big, really extreme. I want to really stand out." But Vienna receives a lot of negative attention over her large lips, as she admitted: "I get a lot of judgement because of my appearance. 'People film directly in my face, people scream at me at how ugly I am. I get a lot of stares." Not only this, but online trolls have urged her to 'sue' her plastic surgeon', called her look 'nasty' and claimed that her surgeon 'should be arrested.' And it's not just judgement that Vienna has to deal with - she also finds breathing a challenge as a result of the size of her pout. I'm so obsessed with filler that my huge lips touch my nose - trolls can't understand what I'm saying, but I don't care She confessed: 'Having big lips totally affects how I talk but also how I drink or eat or breathe. Sometimes it's even hard to breathe.' I have the biggest lips in the world, but I won't stop there and want to go even bigger Vienna Würstel But despite the judgement, Vienna is determined to continue looking exactly how she wants, as she acknowledged: "I will never stop getting plastic surgeries because it makes me the person I want to be." Social media users react YouTube users were left gobsmacked by Vienna's plump pout and many eagerly flocked to the comments to share their thoughts. What are the risks of lip fillers? THE RISKS of dermal fillers depend on whether the procedure was done correctly and the type of filler used. The NHS recommends you speak to your practitioner about the risks beforehand. Serious problems are rare but can include: Infection A lumpy appearance under the skin, which might need to be treated with surgery or medicine The filler moving away from the intended treatment area, which may need to be removed using surgery Scarring Blocked blood vessels in the face, which can cause tissue death and permanent blindness You should see your GP if you have any complications that need medical attention and speak to your practitioner if you're not happy with the results or experience lumpiness. Source: NHS One person asked: 'What kind of beautician and plastic surgeon allows this?? Surely this is almost illegal??' Another added: 'She looks like she had an allergic reaction to something. What physician would allow this?' That looks very uncomfortable YouTube user A third commented: 'She doesn't look human.' Meanwhile, someone else wrote: 'It looks so painful!' Not only this, but another gasped: 'That looks very uncomfortable.' Unlock even more award-winning articles as The Sun launches brand new membership programme - Sun Club
