
Real Estate Future Forum 2025: Saudi Arabia's National Housing Company signs over $8bn of deals
Saudi Arabia's National Housing Company (NHC) has signed deals worth SR30bn ($8.2bn) at the Real Estate Future Forum 2025.
This milestone was achieved under the patronage of Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al Hogail and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef.
The agreements included a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources to enhance collaboration in supply chains and the Industrial Links Program, aiming to increase local content and improve efficiency in the real estate development sector.

In another key agreement, a memorandum of understanding was signed with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) in collaboration with Al Saif Company to advance construction development through off-site construction technologies.
As part of its efforts to support supply chain services, NHC signed agreements with nine real estate development companies.
Additionally, two open purchase agreements were signed with Zamil Air Conditioners Factory, along with another agreement with Alfanar Company.
The forum also marked the announcement of the Logistics City project in Khuzam Destination, a partnership involving NHC, CETC China Construction, and Alrawaf Contracting.
This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of supply chains in the real estate sector, strengthen the national economy, and support future real estate development projects.
To foster human resource development, NHC signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Media Academy to collaborate on training initiatives.
This partnership includes providing specialised programs aimed at qualifying and developing the national workforce.

Asas Makeen bags $64mln construction contract from NHC for Riyadh project
Asas Makeen Real Estate Development and Investment Company has signed an agreement with the state-run National Housing Company (NHC) to develop portions of Al-Mashraqiyah housing project in east Riyadh. The company will execute the superstructure works for the construction of 470 residential units in the 'Tali' phase of the master community at the cost of 240 million Saudi riyals ($63.94 million), the Nomu-listed firm said in a statement on Monday. The phase covers a total area of nearly 71,178 square metres (sqm). The contract, which is scheduled to be completed in 42 months, will have a positive financial impact from the fourth quarter of 2025, the statement said. Saudi's Sumou signs $181mln deal to build villas in Makkah Gate scheme
Sumou Real Estate Company has signed an agreement with the state-backed National Housing Company (NHC) to develop residential units in the Areem Makkah project. The villas will be developed on the land plots allocated to Sumou within the Makkah Gate project, the company said in a statement to the Saudi stock exchange on Sunday. Dubbed 'Area O2' within the Makkah Gate, the project covers 231,600 square metres with an estimated development value of 680 million Saudi riyals ($181.30 million). The contract duration is 42 months, starting 23 May 2025. The project is expected to have a positive impact on the company's results after the start of off-plan sales and construction, the statement said. Saudi NHC launches premium real estate projects in Tabuk
Saudi National Housing Company (NHC) has announced the signing of key agreements with leading developers for the launch of Tabuk Hills as well as the second phase of Tabuk Valley, the newest urban destinations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was launched by Tabuk Region Governor Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz in the presence of senior Saudi officials. The event, held in the presence of Deputy Governor Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Abdullah bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz and NHC Chief Executive Mohammed Al Buty, witnessed the signing of six real-estate development agreements for several projects in the new destinations, said the company in a statement. The step embodies the partnership between the public and private sectors in supporting the goals of the Housing Program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to raise the rate of home ownership to 70%, it added.
