At the Cleveland Browns' training camp, one name is standing out—Shedeur Sanders. He's showing that he belongs. Though many thought he would be taken early in the NFL Draft, things didn't go his way.
After finishing a strong college run at Colorado, he ended up being picked much later than expected. Shedeur, meanwhile, persisted nonetheless. People are now paying attention in training camp to his tosses, decision-making style, and level of confidence displayed. Many believe he could be a guy who will quickly climb the ranks, even though he still has much to do.
Shedeur Sanders
is showing big-time talent, but hasn't worked with first team yet
In early June 2025, at the Cleveland Browns' mandatory minicamp held in Cleveland, Ohio, Shedeur put on quite a show.
According to ESPN, he threw nine touchdown passes and only one pick during OTAs. These were 7-on-7 drills with no full defence, but they gave a clear look at his strong arm and fast thinking.
Shedeur left for the University of Colorado after an amazing 2023 to keep playing collegiate football. With just 10 interceptions, he threw for 37 touchdown passes and 4,134 yards total. The Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award recipient were both Scheduur.

Experts forecast his first-round selection in the NFL Draft.
But he slipped to the fifth round. Now, he's in a tough competition with veterans like Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel. Reports say Shedeur is the only one among them who hasn't yet practiced with the Browns' first-team offence at camp.
James Jones
believes Shedeur Sanders should be the Browns' lead quarterback
On June 13, 2025, former NFL wide receiver James Jones, who played with the Green Bay Packers, publicly blasted the NFL on NFL Network.
He did not mince words. Jones said that Shedeur should be the Browns' starter when the season begins.
'It's been a long time since the Browns had a reliable quarterback,' Jones said. 'To me, Shedeur is the best talent they've got. You've got to play him in Week 1.'
The Cleveland Browns have struggled to find a steady quarterback since Baker Mayfield. Their current starter, Deshaun Watson, hasn't lived up to what was expected. That's why fans and coaches are watching Shedeur closely. Many now hope he could be the fresh start they've been waiting for.

Travis Kelce contract rumors and weight loss: Chiefs star addresses shocking offseason changes

Travis Kelce is determined to prove his critics wrong after a season where his performance dipped slightly (Getty Images) Travis Kelce isn't letting offseason speculation define his legacy. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who has become both an NFL icon and a global celebrity thanks to his relationship with Taylor Swift , is back in the headlines—but this time, he's addressing a rumor that many believed signaled a major red flag for his future. Travis Kelce trims down and tackles the offseason narrative head-on with honesty After a 2024 season that saw Travis Kelce post his lowest receiving yards total of his career, questions began to swirl about whether age, fame, or fitness had finally caught up to the 34-year-old. Despite helping the Chiefs reach their fifth Super Bowl in six years, fans and critics noticed a different version of Kelce—one who didn't always look like the explosive, game-changing threat he once was. — McKenzieMNelson (@McKenzieMNelson) In a report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the latest update on Kelce is raising eyebrows again—but for a different reason. According to Fowler, 'He will debut a bit of a slimmer look. He's told people close to him that he's lost about 25 pounds this offseason,' adding that '[Kelce] played a little heavier in 2024... He vowed to change it and he has.' This revelation signals a dramatic physical shift for the veteran tight end—one that Kelce clearly hopes will translate into a return to form on the field. The slimmer physique could mean quicker cuts, sharper routes, and less wear on his body throughout a grueling NFL season. Retirement rumors and fan fatigue won't slow down one of football's biggest names Even before the Super Bowl confetti finished falling—after the Chiefs were dismantled by the Eagles—speculation about Kelce's future went into overdrive. Retirement rumors were rampant. Critics questioned if he had anything left in the tank. But Kelce made his intentions clear shortly after: he's not done yet, confirming a return for his 13th season, all with Kansas City. With his weight transformation underway and a clear determination to silence the doubters, Kelce is setting the tone for a redemption arc in 2025. And like it or not, with his name dominating headlines and his relationship with the world's biggest pop star still in the spotlight, Travis Kelce isn't fading from public view anytime soon. Travis Hunter contract details: First non-QB rookie to get entire bonus upfront signs with Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed Travis Hunter to a historic $46.65 million rookie contract (Image via AP) In a move that's making waves across the NFL , the Jacksonville Jaguars have officially signed two-way phenom Travis Hunter to a groundbreaking rookie deal. Selected after a bold trade-up with the Cleveland Browns in the 2025 NFL Draft, Hunter becomes one of the most talked-about signings of this year's rookie class—and for good reason. Travis Hunter inks historic $46.65 million rookie deal with Jaguars after blockbuster NFL Draft trade The Jaguars announced Sunday that Travis Hunter has finalized his rookie contract, a four-year agreement worth $46.65 million. What sets this deal apart isn't just the value, but the structure. According to ESPN, the contract includes a staggering $30.57 million signing bonus paid entirely upfront, making Hunter 'the first non-quarterback and non-No. 1 overall pick to get the entirety of the signing bonus upfront. ' — Jaguars (@Jaguars) Hunter was the last of the top-10 draft picks to officially sign, but there's no doubt the wait was worth it for both sides. Known for his ability to shine on both offense and defense, Hunter enters the league with expectations rarely seen for a rookie—let alone one asked to contribute at two of the game's most demanding positions: wide receiver and cornerback. While NFL teams have historically been cautious about deploying players on both sides of the ball, the Jaguars are clearly all-in on Hunter's potential. The former Colorado Buffalo standout electrified fans in college with highlight-reel catches and game-changing plays in the secondary, and Jacksonville believes that impact can carry over to the pro level. The Jaguars' investment suggests they think he can. But critics have pointed to the physical toll and heightened competition of the NFL as major challenges for any two-way player. Though Hunter is a rare athletic specimen, sustaining elite play across two positions over a full NFL season is a task few have even attempted—let alone succeeded at. With one of the richest rookie deals in NFL history already locked in, Hunter is now positioned to become the face of a bold new era in Jacksonville. Whether he thrives in a dual role or eventually settles into one side of the ball, one thing is clear: Travis Hunter is already changing the game before he's even played a down.
