Aaron Paul calls Bryan Cranston 'the most immature person I've ever met in my life'
Aaron Paul has called prankster Bryan Cranston "the most immature person I've ever met in my life".
The pair starred in 'Breaking Bad' together and they have been firm friends ever since, but Aaron has admitted the Walter White actor used to play a lot of pranks onset and managed to convince him his character Jesse Pinkman had been killed off early.
During an appearance on the 'Hot Ones' YouTube series, Aaron said: "He's the hardest worker in the room, the most lovable - I mean, he's my best friend, my son's godfather, I adore him, I spoke to him for an hour on the phone last night.
"I really am obsessed with the guy, but he's also the most immature person I've ever met in my life, and I say that with just love and respect."
Aaron went on to recall an incident when Bryan walked out of the production office and hinted his pal would be making an early exit from the series.
He said: "[Bryan] goes: 'Come here, it's OK,' and he gives me this long hug. I'm like: 'What are you doing?' He's like: 'At least you go out in a big way, huh?'
"And I'm like: 'What are you talking about?' He goes: 'Did you read the latest script?' I go: 'No.' He goes: 'Oh, well, just read it, and I'm here if you need me'."
Aaron then "sprinted" into the office to read the script and was baffled to find his character didn't die in the next episode.
The actor explained Bryan went to huge lengths to keep the ruse going - even getting crewmembers in on the jape.
He added: "He just made it seem like I died, but he would not stop, and he would get everybody in on it, like the costume designers said: 'Hey we gotta do your measurements for the casket, so if you could stay after work, that would be great.' I'm like: 'What are you talking about?' ...
"But I made it!"
Aaron's character Jesse Pinkman had originally been slated to be killed off in the first season, but show bosses decided to keep him on and he became a regular alongside Bryan as school teacher-turned-drug king pin Walter White.
Jesse survived all the way to the end of series five when 'Breaking Bad' came to an end and Aaron even reprised the role for spin-off movie 'El Camino' which acted as an epilogue to the TV show.

Bryan Cranston explains Malcolm in the Middle star's absence from reboot
Bryan Cranston has revealed Erik Per Sullivan won't be joining the Malcolm in the Middle reboot because he studying for a master's degree at Harvard. The Breaking Bad star played frazzled dad Hal in the 2000s show with Christopher Masterson, Justin Berfield, Frankie Muniz and Erik playing his four sons and they are all returning for a revival of the series with the exception of Erik - who played youngest boy Dewey. Now Bryan has revealed the former child star, who is now 33, won't be returning because he's busy with his studies and hasn't acted since he was a child. During an appearance on the 'Fly on the Wall' podcast, Bryan explained: "I talked to Erik and I said: 'Hey, we got the show! It's gonna come back.' "He goes: 'Oh, that's fantastic!' And I go: 'Yeah, so we're looking forward to having you back.' He goes: 'Oh, no, no, I don't want to do it. But it's fantastic that you are'." He added of Erik's decision: "He's actually going to Harvard,. He's really, really smart, and I think he's getting his master's at Harvard right now. He said: 'Oh God, no, I haven't acted since I was nine or something. So I'm not into it'." The role of Dewey has been recast with Caleb Ellsworth-Clark taking over from Erik. Bryan went on to admit it's surreal to see his young co-stars grow up as they are now all around the same age he was when he started working on Malcolm in the Middle. He addeD: "It's amazing how these boys - who were my boys on that show - are now around the same age I was when we first started. They've got children of their own." The show originally ran from 2000 until 2006 and Bryan previously revealed he's relished the experience of playing Hal once again. He told People: "Slipping back into that character of Hal for me was so rewarding - I missed him. "It's been almost 20 years since we said goodbye. And he's a sweet, lovable man. He's really a lovable guy, and it was fun to see all my whole family back together. It was great." He went on to explain how his on-screen costume has helped him to get back into character. Bryan explained: "It's a short-sleeve shirt that Hal would wear, a patterned short-sleeve shirt that screams out he's not going anywhere."

Dakota Johnson slams Hollywood bosses: Too focused on 'remaking the same things'
Dakota Johnson thinks Hollywood is in a "bit of a mess" because studios want to focus on remakes and sequels. The Materialists actress suggested people making decisions in the industry "don't know anything" about movies and just want to capitalise on the success of one project, rather than taking a risk and offering audiences "fresh" new stories. Appearing on YouTube series Hot Ones, host Sean Evans asked her why she feels 'Hollywood is so risk-averse,' as someone who has seen the industry 'up close and personal.' She said: 'I think it's hard when creative decisions are made by committee and it's hard when creative decisions are made by people who don't even really watch movies or know anything about them, and that tends to be what's occurring a lot. "When something does well, studios want to keep that going so they remake the same things, but humans don't want that. They want fresh, they want to feel new things, experience new things, see new things, so I don't know, I guess it's all just a bit of a mess right now, isn't it?' Dakota recently insisted her film Madam Web's poor performance wasn't her fault because the film - in which she played Cassie Web, a paramedic who develops psychic abilities following an accident - had "turned into something else" after she signed up for the project. She told the Los Angeles Times newspaper: 'It wasn't my fault. There's this thing that happens now where a lot of creative decisions are made by committee. Or made by people who don't have a creative bone in their body. And it's really hard to make art that way. Or to make something entertaining that way. 'And I think unfortunately with Madame Web, it started out as something and turned into something else. And I was just sort of along for the ride at that point. But that happens. Bigger-budget movies fail all the time.' Dakota insisted she doesn't "have a Band-Aid over it" and isn't too worried about the experience. She said: 'There's no part of me that's like, 'Oh, I'll never do that again' to anything. I've done even tiny movies that didn't do well. Who cares?' Dakota previously suggested she wouldn't make another superhero film following her experience on Madame Web. She told Bustle: 'I had never done anything like it before. I probably will never do anything like it again because I don't make sense in that world. And I know that now. 'Sometimes in this industry, you sign on to something, and it's one thing and then as you're making it, it becomes a completely different thing, and you're like, 'Wait, what?' ‘Breaking Bad' homeowner's wild act
There's a new villain living in Walter White's house. The real-life owner of the famous 'Breaking Bad' home has had enough of fan visits and reached her own breaking point. Joanne Quintana grew up in the ranch-style property in Albuquerque, New Mexico, during the filming of the series which aired from 2008 to 2013, the New York Post reports. After years of dealing with trespassers and fans of the show flocking to take pictures of the iconic house, Ms Quintana is taking matters into her own hands. In his viral clip, Santi filmed Ms Quintana spraying fans on the street with her water hose, as she demanded they stay away from her property. While sitting on a chair in her front yard, Quintana asked one fan, 'Have you seen anything but 'Breaking Bad' stuff since you've been here?' 'You can take a picture from that corner, do not get close,' she continued. 'And no tripods, no nothing. One picture then you go.' When one visitor approached Ms Quintana's property, she told him, 'back up, cowboy.' Another visitor told Ms Quintana that he was a fan of the Emmy Award-winning show, to which she replied, 'the whole world is a fan, doesn't impress me.' Santi's video of Ms Quintana went viral with nearly three million views, as fans weighed in on Ms Quintana's behaviour. 'She just sits there all day and tells people how stupid they are lol,' one fan wrote. 'If she was smart she'd start charging,' another person said. Someone else pointed out, 'the street and sidewalk are public property.' Other fans suggested Ms Quintana should Airbnb her house to make money. In January, Ms Quintana listed her home for $US4 million ($A6.1 million) as she grew frustrated with fans of the show gawking at her property. Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston, his wife Skylar and their son Walt Jr. famously lived in the home in the series. Ms Quintana told local news outlet KOB that she initially considered the filming a 'once in a lifetime thing' that allowed her and her family to witness 'the magic of Hollywood,' which included interacting with the entire cast and crew. But eventually Ms Quintana and her family dealt with strangers constantly visiting the property. On one occasion, a package for 'Walter White' showed up at the home at 4.30am, leading the Quintanas to call the bomb squad out of concern for their safety. They also put up a fence — but that did not deter television nerds from showing up to the home. Some fans even tossed full pizza pies on the roof of the house's garage in an homage to a classic scene from the show, but they were reprimanded by 'Breaking Bad' creator Vince Gilligan on the 'Better Call Saul' podcast back in 2022. 'There is nothing original, or funny, or cool, about throwing a pizza on this lady's roof,' Gilligan said at the time. 'She is the sweetest lady in the world, and if you are getting on her nerves you are doing something seriously f**king wrong,' he added about Ms Quintana.
