NEET achievement was possible through continuous effort, hard work: Nidhi

Kodagu: KG Nidhi, a student who completed her primary education in Srimangala in Kodagu and secondary education at Navodaya Vidyalaya in Galibeedu, Madikeri, achieved success in the NEET-UG 2025, by securing the 84th rank at the All-India level, and 7th rank in Karnataka.

She secured a seat for education in the medical field by obtaining 648 marks out of 720. Nidhi, who is currently studying PUC in Mangaluru, secured the 550th rank in CET, and now, secured the 84th rank in NEET.
This achievement was possible through continuous effort and hard work. "I engaged in preliminary preparation for NEET from the first PUC. I also received encouragement in the college, and parents as well. I will continue my education in the medical field as per my wish," she said.
She completed her primary education at JC Primary School in Srimangala and her secondary education at Galibeedu Navodaya. Originally from Somwarpet Bettadalli, she is the daughter of Ganapathy, who resides in Choudlu Alekatte, working as the ASI in the district armed reserve force at Madikeri, and Gunavathy, the in-charge headmistress of Jakkanalli Govt School.

THENI: The state government established residential schools across Tamil Nadu in 2022 to prepare students for competitive exams including NEET, JEE and CLAT. A bunch of students from the first batch of the model school in Theni have secured admission in engineering and law courses in central government educational institutions. According to sources, the school gave coaching to 102 students, of which 40 each appeared for NEET and JEE respectively, and 22 sat for CLAT. Of these, seven scored between 200 and 300 marks in NEET. The rest of the students just managed pass mark. R Naveenkumar, the school topper, secured 464 out of 720 marks. Among the 40 who appeared for JEE, three have got admission in IIT- Bhubaneshwar. Four students bagged admission in Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI). After clearing CLAT, three students have got admission in Dr Ambedkar Law University while another students got admission in Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam. Speaking to TNIE, the HM of Theni model school C Mutharasppan said unlike the other schools which admitted Class XI and XII students, his school took in students who were in Class IX. " The teachers made students revise the lessons thoroughly several times and it has produced good results. Naveenkumar, who topped the school in NEET, will not get the 7.5% quota reserved for government school students as had studied in an aided school", he said.

Students of the Gnyana Sudha PU Science College have delivered an exceptional performance in NEET-2025, earning laurels for the institution and bringing pride to Karnataka's Bidar district. Among the standout achievers, Shreya Uday Patil secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 7,245 with a score of 520 out of 720, qualifying for free medical admission. Another student, Shrikanth Bhapurao, achieved a notable AIR of 674 under the CAT category, scoring 521 out of 720. In total, 15 students from the college have qualified for free medical seats this year. The college, part of the Gnyana Sudha Group of Institutions, organised a felicitation ceremony to honour the successful students. Poornima George, president of the Gnyana Sudha Education Society, congratulated the achievers and attributed their success to the tireless efforts of academic directors Sujatha Bomma Reddy and D. Srikanth Reddy, along with their committed teaching staff. Muneshwar Lakha, director of the Gnyana Sudha Group of Institutions, lauded the academic team, stating that their dedication had not only elevated the reputation of the college, but also brought honour to the entire Bidar district. Principal Channaveer Patil also expressed pride in the students' accomplishments, reaffirming the institution's commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
