Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal celebrate first wedding anniversary after 8 years of love
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are celebrating their first wedding anniversary, marking a significant milestone in their relationship. After nearly eight years together, the couple secretly got married in a private ceremony a year ago. Until shortly before their marriage, their relationship was largely kept out of the public eye. The Rowdy Rathore actress shared a heartfelt message for her husband in honor of the special day. She said they had been dating for eight years before getting married, and it has been a year since they were married. She was pleased that Zaheer remained the same person she had fallen in love with after they were married. The actress posted a joyful picture of herself and Zaheer together, both of them laughing widely. They celebrate their first year as husband and wife by holding up one finger in the photo. The actress posted "Happy Anniversary" on her Instagram story. "To my boyfriend of 8 years and husband of 1. (Thank God it's the same person)." At Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's house, celebrations have already begun. She provided a brief glimpse of the home setup in another Instagram story. Zaheer was spotted seated in front of a cute decor. She also showed her in-laws how much she loved and respected them. 'Best in-laws in the world. First he gave me this guy, then so much love," she remarked Sonakshi Sinha previously revealed on Kareena Kapoor 's chat show What Women Want that she expressed to Zaheer Iqbal her feelings within a week of their first meeting. She described it as love at first sight and claimed to have felt a deep connection from the start. 'I told Zaheer I love you just a week after meeting him. I was very excited. But I don't know; there was some kind of recognition, like a spark. You know how sometimes you just feel that this person is meant for you? That's what happened to me. I had never felt that way before. I usually take my time with such things, but with him, it was instant. I got serious much earlier than he did. But boys usually take a little more time. And he seems like one of those guys who takes his time. He's not exactly shy, but I would say that he was at a stage where he knew that if he took this step, it would be for life; it would be permanent," she said. In terms of her career, Sonakshi Sinha is scheduled to feature in the film Nikita Roy, which is directed by her brother, Kush Sinha. Alongside Paresh Rawal, Arjun Rampal, and Suhail Nayyar , the movie is scheduled for release on June 27.
