ENHYPEN's Niki is 'scary senior'?, ILLIT‘s Minju reveals HYBE director warning her against offending him
HYBE is under scrutiny for allegedly spreading negative rumors about ENHYPEN members. A recent speculation about Niki's supposedly unfavorable attitude was highlighted by ILLIT's Minju's revelation of being cautioned about it. Niki appeared taken aback by the rumor and questioned its origin. Fans also voiced their discontent, feeling that HYBE was unfairly portraying its artists in a negative light despite being responsible for protecting them.
Niki was portrayed as a scary senior by HYBE officials
On June 6, ENHYPEN members Niki and Sunoo appeared as guests on ILLIT member Minju's YouTube show, Minju's Pink Cabinet. Before they arrived, she mentioned feeling "intimidating and scary" to her since she hadn't had a chance to interact with them before. During one segment, Niki tried some drinks to identify which one contained Samdasoo. After being successful in his mission, he offered Minju to taste it as well.
To that the ILLIT junior replied, 'One of the directors said that if you drink that Niki would get angry.' Niki seemed shocked at the unexpected reputation he held and promptly asked, "Who said that? A strange rumor started going around." He even inquisitioned, "Are they trying to make me seem like a scary senior at the company?" Minju further shared how sacred she was to host them after being warned against offending Niki.

Engenes (ENHYPEN's fandom) didn't like the way HYBE portrayed Niki. They called it "annoying" and accused them of spreading "groundless rumors" against the artists. One comment read, "we are here defending enha for every rumors spreading yet the staffs are some of the ones starting it?!" They also felt that these were the reason that made the newer or relatively younger K-pop idols refrain from interacting with other groups.
They also recalled how it wasn't the first time an ENHYPEN member was portrayed in a negative light. Previously, when Sunghoon appeared on Minju's show, she mentioned hearing from the company staff that Sunghoon "hated" them decorating a dog plushie of his, which was revealed by him to be untrue.

Stray Kids' Hyunjin and d4vd CONFIRM collaboration on Always Love: Release date, teasers, lyrics preview and more
The rumored collaboration between Stray Kids' Hyunjin and American singer-songwriter d4vd has now been officially confirmed. On June 22, d4vd announced that his upcoming single, titled Always Love will feature Hyunjin. It will be released globally on June 27, 2025. This collaboration marks a new chapter for both artists: Hyunjin making his name in international features outside of Stray Kids, and d4vd partnering with a major K-pop idol for the first time. Background: A collaboration rooted in mutual appreciation Talks of a potential collaboration began circulating in 2024, when Hyunjin publicly mentioned in an interview that he had been listening to d4vd's music. The comment reached d4vd. He responded on social media, expressing interest in working with the Stray Kids member. Over the following months, the two continued to exchange support online, sparking speculation within fan communities. However, no formal project has been confirmed until now. Earlier in June 2025, d4vd attended a Stray Kids concert in California, part of the group's ongoing dominATE world tour. The concert appearance marked the first known time the two artists met in person. It further fuelled rumors of an active collaboration. Following the concert, fans noticed that both artists were engaging more actively on social media, and speculation about a joint release intensified. Many interpreted the timing of their meeting as a sign that a project was already in progress. Teaser video hints at tone of upcoming track To accompany the announcement, d4vd released a short promotional video through his official social media channels. In the clip, he is seen dancing alongside a life-size cardboard cutout of Hyunjin while holding a SKZOO plush doll. The doll is a reference to Stray Kids' merchandise line. Though the video doesn't reveal full details about the song, fans noted that the brief audio snippet suggests an emotionally driven tone. It's consistent with d4vd's signature moody pop sound. The song is expected to bring d4vd's lyrical vulnerability with Hyunjin's vocal color and visual artistry. d4vd teases lyrics ahead of release As of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding whether Always Love will be accompanied by a music video. Both d4vd's team and JYP Entertainment, the agency representing Stray Kids, have remained silent on potential promotional appearances and interviews. They have also not shared any information about behind-the-scenes materials related to the collaboration. Despite the lack of formal details, d4vd has been actively teasing the release on his social media. He also shared a snippet of the song's lyrics, encouraging fans to guess which lines belong to Hyunjin. The post quickly sparked enthusiastic responses, with fans analyzing the lyrics to identify the Stray Kids member's part. Some fans jokingly told d4vd to 'slow down' or playfully scolded him for 'leaking confidential information.' Anticipation high among fans of both artists Following the announcement, fans of both Stray Kids and d4vd expressed excitement across platforms. Many have called the collaboration unexpected yet fitting. They cite both artists' shared themes of introspection and emotional expression in their music.

Diljit Dosanjh and Pakistani actress Hania Aamir's Sardaar Ji 3 skips India release. Indian netizens feel 'betrayed' amid Indo-Pak tensions
In an unexpected turn for one of Punjabi cinema 's most beloved franchises, Sardaar Ji 3 is steering clear of Indian theatres altogether. The trailer, launched by Diljit Dosanjh on Sunday evening, made waves not just for its content, but for who could (and couldn't) watch it. With the video geo-blocked in India and the release confirmed as "Overseas Only," social media was quick to connect the dots, and emotions ran high. The controversy stems from the prominent appearance of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir along with Nasir Chinyoti, Daniel Khawar and Saleem Albela, despite rising tensions between India and Pakistan following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack . While Diljit promoted the film with his signature flair, Indian fans felt betrayed, flooding social media with criticism. On X, Diljit wrote, 'Sardaar Ji 3 releasing 27th June OVERSEAS Only.' But Indian fans were met with disappointment when the trailer refused to load on YouTube in the country, triggering the message: 'The uploader has not made this video available in your country.' Curiously, the teaser and songs remain accessible in India, making the trailer blackout feel like a deliberate move linked to its casting. — diljitdosanjh (@diljitdosanjh) Indian netizens react Online backlash followed swiftly. While some users expressed their heartbreak and anger—'Nation is always first,' one wrote—others said that he did not do the 'right thing'. One shared a GIF which read 'Ultimate betrayal,' reflecting the deep emotional disconnect fans now feel toward a franchise they once celebrated. On X, a user called his decision shameful and accused him of ignoring national sentiment. A user expressed frustration over what they see as a growing trend among celebrities who, after achieving stardom, adopt an indifferent attitude. They accused Diljit Dosanjh of abandoning the very country that gave him name and fame, questioning whether stars like him feel any moral responsibility toward their nation. FWICE on Sardaar Ji 3 Fueling the outrage further, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had, on June 11, urged the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to withhold clearance for the film, citing the inclusion of Pakistani actors such as Nasir Chinyoti, Daniel Khawar, and Saleem Albela in addition to Hania Aamir. Sardaar Ji 3 is the latest chapter in Diljit Dosanjh's hit comedy-fantasy series known for its quirky charm and massive fanbase.
