With the 25th-ranked bullpen ERA in all of baseball at 4.64, they are among the worst in baseball. However, the team is also being projected to look at the MLB Draft as a longer-term solution to their pitching problems. According to Jim Callis and Jonathan Mayo, Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski is expected to target a right-handed pitcher for help. With the 26th overall pick, Callis and Mayo believe the franchise will take Tyler Bremner, a 21-year-old pitcher out of The University of California, Santa Barbara.
