ARMOR ALL, the renowned name in automotive care and a brand under Energizer Holdings Inc., has officially launched its high-performance Armor All Podium Series in Malaysia. Developed through an exclusive partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing, the new product line made its debut alongside a special public event at Elmina Lakeside Mall, designed to showcase its premium capabilities while engaging local car enthusiasts and families alike.
The event highlighted the standout product from the range–the Armor All Podium Series Interior Detailer–alongside demonstrations of its trusted exterior offerings. Visitors were treated to complimentary car wash services, giving them a hands-on introduction to the advanced formulations now available to the Malaysian market.
This new Podium Series represents a significant leap in car care technology, incorporating hybrid ceramic formulas based on advanced SiO₂ compounds. The result is a range that provides exceptional surface protection, long-lasting water repellency, and high durability across various vehicle surfaces. The collection has been designed with both professional detailers and everyday car owners in mind, combining performance with ease of use to suit Malaysia's climate and urban driving conditions.
The Armor All Podium Series includes several standout products: the Hybrid Ceramic Wash & Shine, which delivers a slick, sudsy gloss and hydrophobic protection; the Hybrid Ceramic Tyre Shine, offering a deep, lasting shine for up to four weeks; and the Hybrid Ceramic Exterior Detailer, which enhances colour depth and forms a protective barrier on all exterior surfaces including vinyl wraps and decals.
For interior care, the series includes the Interior Detailer, formulated to clean and refresh a range of surfaces including glass, tech screens, and premium materials while offering UV protection and a natural finish. Rounding off the lineup is the Hybrid Ceramic Protectant, which shields surfaces from dust buildup and future staining, reinforced with UVA and UVB protection.
The new packaging also reflects Armor All's commitment to sustainability and user experience, featuring recyclable PET bottles and specially designed spray triggers for controlled application.
According to Energizer Malaysia's Business Director for Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam, Diane Lee, the collaboration with Oracle Red Bull Racing has brought a level of car care innovation previously reserved for the elite racing world into the hands of everyday drivers. She noted that Malaysians have a strong connection to their vehicles–not just as a mode of transport but as an extension of their personality–and that the Podium Series was developed to meet these emotional and practical needs.
As part of the nationwide rollout, the public is invited to try the full range at Elmina Lakeside Mall's Open Carpark from 21 to 22 June 2025, between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM. This launch event underscores Armor All's aim to provide premium automotive care that's accessible, efficient, and tailored to local needs.
With its launch now underway, the Armor All Podium Series is available for purchase at selected retail locations across Malaysia and through authorised online platforms, offering consumers a new standard in vehicle maintenance and presentation.

Pan Merchant's retail IPO tranche undersubscribed at 0.37 times

PAN Merchant Berhad's initial public offering (IPO) was undersubscribed by the Malaysian public, with the public portion receiving applications for only 16.93 million new shares out of 45.8 million shares offered, representing a subscription rate of 0.37 times, the company said in a Bursa Malaysia filing today. Under the public category, the Bumiputera portion was subscribed at 0.19 times, while the remaining public portion registered a 0.55 times subscription rate. Despite the undersubscription in the retail tranche, Pan Merchant said its IPO has been completed successfully due to strong support from private placement investors. The private placement to selected investors and to identified Bumiputera investors approved by MITI were both fully placed out. Additionally, the 18.3 million new shares allocated to eligible directors, employees and persons who have contributed to the success of the group were fully subscribed following clawback and reallocation. Pan Merchant's shares are slated to be listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia on July 1, 2025. Commenting on the market conditions, CEO Lim Teck Seong said: 'We acknowledge the market sentiment remains selective, especially among retail investors, but we remain confident in our fundamentals and long-term growth strategy.' He added: 'The full take-up by institutional investors and strategic shareholders is a strong vote of confidence in our business model and prospects.' Pan Merchant, a construction and project management services provider, is seeking to raise RM23.4 million from the IPO to fund working capital, repayment of bank borrowings, and listing expenses. — TMR

Rollti Secures Halal Status For Four More Outlets, Strengthens Muslim-Friendly Brand Image

KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 (Bernama) -- Rollti, a homegrown food company specialising in serving roti canai with unique Malaysian-style fillings, has secured halal certification for four more of its outlets, bringing the total to five out of six. Rollti's director and founder, Fred Chan, said halal certification has been a key priority to ensure the brand remains accessible to Malaysia's Muslim population, and the company managed to secure it for the four outlets in under six months. He said the company would ensure its entire supply chain and kitchen practices follow halal standards, from sourcing halal-certified ingredients and proper labelling to staff practices, including having at least two Muslim staff members at each halal-certified outlet. 'And we do occasional halal audits as well on a quarterly basis to ensure that we adhere to the halal standards of Malaysia. And of course, halal standards in Malaysia are very high. So we have to follow that,' he told Bernama when met at one of Rollti's outlets at a mall, here today. He said Rollti is also eyeing halal certification for its upcoming international outlets at Gandaria City Mall in Jakarta, Indonesia and Republic Plaza in Singapore, set for soft launches in mid-August and November, respectively. As roti canai is the foundation of Rollti's products and part of Malaysia's culinary heritage, Fred says the company wishes to maintain proper branding, including achieving a clear vision and mission abroad through its halal compliance. 'As there is a large population of young people in both locations, they are surely looking for something quick, easy and unique, like a roti canai wrap, which is not commonly found, especially in Jakarta. So, we decided to take a bold step and expand further into a new country,' he said. Domestically, Rollti also plans for expansion, particularly in the Klang Valley and Johor, but is placing a greater focus on overseas markets, as it has received support from the government through various grants. To mark the durian season, the company has launched a limited-time Durian Festive menu, combining roti canai with durian and ice cream filling, available until the end of July.

KUALA LUMPUR: Setel Ventures Sdn Bhd (Setel) has formalised a strategic partnership with TNG Digital Sdn Bhd (TNGD) to enable fuelling and payments right at the pump via TNG eWallet, available at over 1,000 PETRONAS stations nationwide. This landmark integration brings Setel's proprietary pump-and-pay technology to one of Malaysia's largest digital wallets. The collaboration, formalised through a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), allows users to pay for fuel seamlessly without leaving their vehicle or needing to download a separate app. The new feature is available through the 'PETRONAS via Setel' mini programme within the TNG eWallet. Setel chief executive officer Abdullah Ayman Awaluddin said, 'This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to scale Setel's platform through ecosystem integration that delivers meaningful impact. 'Refuelling is a high-frequency transaction. Embedding Setel within TNG eWallet allows us to meet users where they are and reinforce our vision to deliver seamless and frictionless mobility and retail experiences through digital innovation.' TNG Digital chief executive officer Alan Ni said, 'This partnership with Setel supports our goal of integrating practical, everyday services into the lives of our users. 'Fuel payments are a regular routine for many individuals and this collaboration makes the process faster and more accessible, while creating new touchpoints within PETRONAS' nationwide network. 'We actively encourage partnerships that not only enhance convenience for users, but also give our partners the opportunity to reach a wider, digitally engaged audience.' To mark the launch, a limited-time promotion will reward the first 50,000 eligible transactions made through the TNG eWallet mini programme with RM5 worth of Mesra Rewards points. This applies to new users of Setel and Mesra Rewards, as well as existing Mesra users linking their ID to Setel for the first time. Additionally, users will also earn TNG eWallet's GOrewards points for each transaction made through the mini programme (terms and conditions apply). Beyond the immediate rewards, this partnership reflects Setel and TNG Digital's shared ambition to make everyday mobility smarter and more rewarding – merging fuel, payments and loyalty into one integrated experience for Malaysian motorists.
