Salman Khan says Aamir Khan won't stop till he achieves perfection in marriage; hopes his relationship with Gauri Spratt is his last: ‘She will ensure he achieves perfection this time'

The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 opened with a bang as Salman Khan joined Kapil Sharma and his team for a fun-filled evening. As always, Kapil couldn't resist teasing Salman with the age-old question about his marriage, especially in the light of Aamir Khan introducing his new girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, to the world.
Kapil quipped, 'Aamir rok nahi rahi hai aur aap start hi nahi kar rahe ho (He isn't stopping, and you aren't even starting).' To this, Salman replied, 'Aamir stands in a league of his own. He is an outstanding personality. The whole world knows him as a perfectionist. So, until he achieves perfection in marriage, he will keep doing it. But I think this is his last. He will achieve perfection this time. She will ensure he achieves perfection this time.'
Aamir Khan was first married to Reena Dutta. They secretly tied the knot in 1986, two years before Aamir's breakthrough role in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. The couple had two children — son Junaid Khan and daughter Ira Khan — before parting ways in 2002.
Aamir then married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. The two welcomed their son Azad Rao Khan through surrogacy in 2011. However, after fifteen years of marriage, they announced their separation in 2021. In March this year, Aamir introduced his new girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, on his 60th birthday.
Continuing the conversation on The Great Indian Kapil Show, Kapil Sharma cheekily noted that Shah Rukh Khan has a Gauri in his life — his wife Gauri Khan — and now Aamir, too, has a Gauri. He then asked Salman Khan if he had a Gauri in his life. Salman laughed and replied, 'No, no… na goori se na kaali se, duniya hai dilwale se.'
Over the years, Salman Khan has been linked with several actors, but the star has always remained tight-lipped about his relationships, choosing to keep his personal life private and away from the limelight.

Aamir Khan breaks down recalling his decision to quit films: 'I knew what my directors' dreams and fears were, but not my own children's'

Before the release of Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan broke down in tears while speaking about a deeply personal phase in his life, one where he contemplated walking away from films to make up for the time he felt he lost with his children and family. The superstar, who has been a part of Indian cinema for over three decades, shared that the Covid-19 pandemic was a turning point that made him reassess his priorities. 'I had not given them any time' Aamir recounted how, during the lockdown, he realised just how much he had neglected his personal life in pursuit of his career. 'All these 18 years of my life were filled with passion, magic and a craze for creativity,' he said in an emotional appearance on Aap Ki Adalat. 'But I was 56, and I started thinking — what have I done with my family, my children, my ammi, and my siblings? I had not given them any time.' With tears in his eyes, the Dangal star shared that his children Ira and Junaid were already in their twenties, and he had no idea what their childhood dreams or insecurities were. 'I knew what my directors' (Ashutosh Gowariker) dreams and fears were, but not my own children's. When I realised this, I was depressed for three days.' Aamir's decision to quit and what changed his mind It was during this time that Aamir decided Laal Singh Chaddha would be his last film. He informed his family and even called Sitaare Zameen Par director RS Prasanna to step away from acting in the project. But it was his children, and ex-wife Kiran Rao, who eventually pulled him back. 'Junaid told me, 'Papa, you're being an extremist. Earlier you gave everything to films, and now you want to give everything to us. There's a middle path.'' Ira, too, expressed that he had already spent significant time with them, and they had their own lives to lead. Kiran, visibly moved, told Aamir, 'You are a child of cinema. If you leave films, you'll leave us too. Don't do that.' Their words struck a chord. Salman Khan shares his deeper concern when asked about marriage: 'Phir divorce toh chalo hogaya, woh aadhe paise bhi toh le jaati hai'

Even at 59, Salman Khan continues to be quizzed about his bachelor status, a tag he has carried for nearly four decades. During a recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, the superstar was once again teased about his refusal to marry, and as expected, he responded with his trademark humour and honesty. Host Kapil Sharma jokingly asked Salman if he plans to follow in Aamir Khan's footsteps and find a new girlfriend. Without missing a beat, Salman replied, 'No such plans.' Archana Puran Singh, who was also present, chimed in, asking if he wasn't tired of the same question after all these years. Salman's reply had everyone in splits. 'Main humesha kehta hu ki mere shaadi kar lene mein aapka kya faeda hai? Kya aapko maza aa raha hai ki main aapke liye suhagrat mana raha hu? Main kya kar raha hu jisme aapko itni khushi ho rahi hai ki main barbad ho jau?' (I always say—how does it benefit you if I get married? Are you enjoying the fact that I'm spending my wedding night for you? What am I doing that brings you so much joy in seeing me ruined?)' 'Divorce happens over snoring now' Delving into why marriage doesn't appeal to him, Salman pointed out the changing dynamics of relationships. 'Couples today split over minor issues like snoring or sleeping positions,' he said, adding that the level of patience and willingness to compromise has dropped drastically. He also shared his deeper concern: 'Phir divorce toh chalo hogaya, woh aadhe paise bhi toh le jaati hai,' he said bluntly, talking about the financial and emotional toll of modern-day divorces.
