Taiz - Saba:
Zakat Authority branch and the Planning Sector in Taiz province on Saturday organized a training workshop on the executive mechanism for preparing the branch's plan for the year 1447 AH.
The workshop aimed to educate 30 directors of the authority's branches in relevant districts and departments on how to develop the plan, starting with analyzing the current situation, assessing local development realities, and identifying plan priorities.
At the workshop's opening, director of the Zakat Authority branch, Shawqi Mugales emphasized the importance of utilizing these workshops to create a development plan that meets the needs of society.
He highlighted the necessity of basing the plan on accurate data and information to ensure its implementability and the achievement of desired goals.
Meanwhile, province's planning official Mohamed al-Washli provided an explanation of the executive mechanism and the models prepared for formulating the plan.

Accompanied by the Director of Human Resources, Ali Al-Babili, they reviewed workflow and employee discipline at the Zakat Authority's office in the capital. They were briefed by the office director, Muhammad Al-Alfi, on the level of discipline at the main office and its branches in the districts following the holiday. Abu Nashtan and Al-Saqaf praised the high level of discipline among the leadership and employees on the first official workday, commending their efforts during the past period. Additionally, Deputy Chairman Al-Saqaf, accompanied by Deputy Head of Awareness and Rehabilitation Sector Ahmed Mujalli and HR Director Al-Babili, reviewed work discipline across various sectors of the Authority's headquarters. In the same context, Al-Saqaf and the HR Director inspected work discipline at the Zakat Authority offices in Sana'a and Marib provinces. They received briefings from the directors of the two offices, Abdulwahab Al-Tahaif (Sana'a) and Yasser Al-Amir (Marib), on performance levels and employee discipline in their respective offices and district branches. Hajjah – Saba: A two-day training workshop has concluded in Khairan al-Muharraq district of Hajjah governorate. The workshop brought together staff from executive office branches, the Cooperative Society's administrative body, and the Knights of Development. Its primary aim was to update the district's current situation study and prepare the development plan for the year 1447 AH. The workshop, attended by Hassan Hazzazi (the governorate's agricultural sector official and trainer), Ahmed Bakili (the district director), and Othman Shuaib Ghaleb (the district's local secretary-general), focused on several key objectives: Understanding the current situation in the district and identifying both strengths and weaknesses for updating. Identifying mechanisms for collecting data from the field. Preparing a development plan centered on sustainable economic projects. In his closing remarks, the district director emphasized the importance of the knowledge and information gained during the workshop, noting its crucial role in enabling participants to effectively collect the necessary data. Hodeidah – Saba: A workshop was held today in Hodeidah Governorate to prepare the integrated development plan for the year 1447 AH and determine the priorities for economic empowerment projects. The event involved the participation of heads of agricultural cooperative associations and district planning directors. Organized by the Planning Department in coordination with the General Administration for Development Research and Training, the Tihama Development Authority, the Agricultural Cooperative Union, and Bonyan Foundation—with support from the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Funding Unit—the workshop aimed to develop a comprehensive plan based on the actual needs of rural communities. Governor Abdullah Atifi emphasized the importance of participatory planning to draft a development map aligned with district needs. He highlighted that the success of such plans depends on community engagement and the effective role of agricultural cooperatives in setting realistic priorities. First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri stressed the shift from traditional to need-based planning, calling for accurate data and genuine cooperation among all stakeholders. He pointed out Hodeidah's strong agricultural potential, which, if utilized effectively, could significantly transform rural livelihoods. Assistant Deputy Governor Mutahar Al-Hadi underlined that successful planning depends on a clear understanding of the local environment and the efficient use of resources.
