Hackers believed to be connected to Israel have stolen more than USD 90 million from Iran's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Nobitex. The company confirmed that it was hit by a cyberattack. According to a post on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, both the Nobitex app and website were down while they were checking the damage from the unauthorized access. The stolen money included several types of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and others.
Hackers claim responsibility
Some blockchain investigation firms shared that a group came forward on Thursday and claimed responsibility for the hack. They also said they had leaked the full source code of Nobitex. In a message posted on their Telegram channel, the hackers wrote, 'Whatever was left at Nobitex is now public. Their security system is broken.'

Traced to political messages
According to a blog post by Elliptic, a blockchain analytics company, the stolen funds were sent to crypto addresses that had messages written against Iran's Revolutionary Guard (IRGC). These messages suggest that the attack may have had a political motive too and not just financial.
The incident has raised serious questions about cybersecurity in Iran's financial tech space and shows how crypto platforms can become targets during larger geopolitical tensions.

Hackers Target Iran's Nobitex to send a political message
The hackers who recently stole millions from Iran's biggest crypto exchange, Nobitex, said their goal was not to make money. Instead, they claimed the hack was meant to send a political message. The stolen funds were moved into wallets that seemed designed to embarrass Nobitex and criticize Iran's government.
Who are the hackers?
The attack was carried out by a hacker group named Gonjeshke Darande, which means 'Predator Bird' in Persian. This group blamed Nobitex for helping Iran's government avoid Western sanctions. They also accused the exchange of secretly moving money to support Iran's fast-growing nuclear program.
The group is believed to be linked to Israel, but the Israeli government has never officially admitted to having any ties with them.
A political statement, not a heist
Security experts believe this was not a money-driven hack. The choice of wallets and the messages left behind show that the real goal was to expose and shame Iran's use of crypto for political and nuclear purposes.

Reloy FY25 revenue rises 60% to ₹28.5 crore on strong referral sales growth

HDFC Capital-backed proptech startup Reloy, which helps builders generate referral sales, has posted a 60 per cent growth in revenue to Rs 28.5 crore in the previous fiscal year on high demand for housing properties. The company posted a gross revenue of Rs 17.8 crore in the 2023-24 financial year. "We managed to grow 50 per cent in our core referral sales business," Reloy Founder and CEO Akhil Saraf told PTI. He noted that the company has cracked the code on referral sales and replicating this across all clients. Saraf said the company is working with almost all leading real estate developers across major states. Founded in 2015, Reloy specialises in real estate loyalty and referrals. It is a B2B2C homeowner and broker management platform that helps builders manage their customers and brokers more efficiently. Reloy has so far raised Rs 13 crore from various investors, including HDFC Capital, which owns around 10 per cent stake in the startup. The tech solutions offered by the company streamline the post-purchase journey of homeowners. Reloy rewards homeowners with benefits across ancillary requirements of home interiors and home finance. It helps homeowners in post-purchase exercises like document management, construction tracking, and payments. It also creates a marketplace for other connected needs of home interiors and home finance. According to one of the leading real estate listing platforms, highlighted that proptech firms have garnered a total of USD 4.6 billion between 2010-11 and 2023-24 financial years, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 40 per cent. As per the latest report of realtors' apex body CREDAI and EY, the Proptech market size is estimated to jump multifold to around USD 600 billion by 2047 from the current USD 10.5 billion due to rise in the use of technology in the real estate sector. British F-35B Fighter Jet, Which Is Grounded In Kerala, On Sale On OLX? A Fact-Check

New Delhi: A British F-35B fighter jet, which made an unscheduled stop at Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on Saturday, has remained grounded since then. While authorities worked on ensuring the safe departure of the jet, one of the world's most expensive and advanced combat aircraft, multiple posts on social media claimed the British F-35B Lightning II was up for sale on OLX. The screenshot appeared to be that of a post on OLX, and it included a picture of the F-35 fighter jet. It said the aircraft was up for sale for USD 4 million. The viral post, however, is fake. India is not for Beginners ???????????? Indians put Royal Navy's #F35B stealth fighter jet for sale on OLX, which has been grounded in Kerala's #Thiruvananthapuram airport for 6 days. — Rocket Singh Loki Head Chef @ Gryffindor भोजनालय (@DegreeWaleBabu) June 20, 2025 Who the hell did this! LMAO. Royal Navy's F-35B for sale. — Shihab (@ShihabudeenMb) June 18, 2025 F35 for Sale on OLX at $4M ???????????? #Trump — Jamin (@JaminrpP) June 20, 2025 Malayalis have put the British F-35 fighter jet on sale online in OLX ???????? — Mini Nair (@minicnair) June 17, 2025 The post also mentioned a few of the aircraft's specifications, including automatic parking, brand-new tyres and a battery. However, no such post was found on OLX's official website. Additionally, the items for sale on OLX from Kerala were priced in US dollars, which further suggests the post was fabricated. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is currently guarding the British F-35B fighter jet, which is part of the UK's HMS Prince of Wales Carrier Strike Group, currently deployed in the Indo-Pacific region. The carrier group recently completed joint maritime exercises with the Indian Navy. Since its arrival, British aviation engineers have been working intensively to fix a technical snag related to the aircraft's hydraulic systems. Despite their efforts, the issue remains unresolved, delaying the fighter jet's return to its mother ship.
