Though some interpreted it as a sarcastic remark, many fans took a more serious view. 'He's clearly not okay,' one commenter wrote. Another pleaded, 'Why are the people around him not helping?'
According to TMZ, this latest upload comes amid a wave of speculation about Bieber's private life. Earlier this year, the singer appeared visibly out of sorts during wife Hailey Bieber's 'Rhode' skincare event, prompting renewed questions about his mental state.
In May, Bieber also shared another Instagram carousel in which he was seen smiling with a large glass bong on his lap.
While many viewed the post as a celebration of recreational drug use, his representativeshave denied this.
A spokesperson told TMZ in February that 'the recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true,' emphasising that the artist is 'in one of the best places in his life,' actively raising his newborn son with Hailey and working on new music.
Still, that reassurance hasn't quieted the speculation.
TMZ delved deeper, reporting on a string of issues affecting the singer, including financial instability, alleged tensions in his marriage, and his ties to a controversial religious institution—widely believed to be Hillsong Church or a related offshoot.
Bieber, a long-time follower of pastor Carl Lentz (who was dismissed from Hillsong amid scandal), has in the past credited the church with helping him through personal turmoil. But critics argue that the church's influence may be unhealthy and cult-like.

'Smart woman!': Rachel Kolisi's new car sparks speculation

Rachel Kolisi's new car announcement – an 'upgrade' from her Yaris – has been met with speculation from many South Africans who questioned her motives. The former wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi revealed her new set of wheels this week courtesy of a brand deal with Chinese car manufacturer Jetour. Last month, the mother-of-two described driving the used car as a 'humbling' experience. Rachel and Siya announced their divorce last October and have been navigating life as single parents. On Friday, 20 June, Rachel Kolisi posted images on her Instagram account of her new car, a brand new SUV, courtesy of Jetour. The brand deal was made possible through Livingstone Sports Management, the same company her brother, sports agent Joel Smith, works for. Rachel previously had an endorsement deal with Mercedes-Benz, which sponsored luxury cars for both her and her former husband, Siya Kolisi. However, the deal likely ended shortly before Rachel announced her 'humbling' decision to drive a Toyota Yaris in an Instagram post she swiftly deleted. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rachel Kolisi (@rachelkolisi) With Rachel Kolisi bagging a new deal – with a sports agency no less, many are wondering if her 'Yaris' post was merely a ploy to attract sponsorship and public sympathy. Rachel Kolisi deleted an IG post about her modest car. Was it a ploy for 'public sympathy'? Images via Instagram: @rachelkolisi X user @camagumayeye_ posted: 'I'm starting to think the Yaris thing was a ploy to attract brands'. Another @XolieMahlangu added: 'She knew what she was doing. I love me a smart woman.' @TboozeSA posted: 'It was a clever move. Good business on her side', while @TakatsoLisbeth added: 'That Yaris was a paid actor'. Meanwhile, reports claim that Rachel Kolisi could be entitled to half of Siya's wealth amid their high-profile divorce. According to Pulse Sports, the former Springbok WAG could walk away with as much as R17.5 million – half of Siya's estimated net worth – in the settlement. The couple is believed to be married in community of property. Fans have taken sides in the Siya and Rachel Kolisi Foundation controversy. Images via Instagram: @rachelkolisi/ @siyakolisi In 2019, Rachel and Siya established their joint charity, The Kolisi Foundation. However, earlier this year, Rachel claimed that she was pressured to leave her post as CEO at the NGO. In a complaint filed with the CCMA, Rachel claimed 'constructive dismissal', alleging that her working conditions became 'intolerable', 'forcing' her to resign. She is seeking reinstatement or compensation for the distress caused by her resignation. Although Rachel's source of income is unclear, she and her two children, as well as Siya's two siblings, continue to live in their Cape Town home. Siya lives in a Ballito mansion in KwaZulu-Natal, where he plays for the Sharks. DO YOU BELIEVE RACHEL KOLISI DUPED THE PUBLIC WITH HER YARIS IG POST? Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus dazzle Paris with golden duet

Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus set Paris alight with their surprise duet during the Cowboy Carter tour. On the night of 19 June, fans at Stade de France witnessed music history. Beyoncé invited Miley Cyrus to join her on stage. The two icons performed II Most Wanted , their Grammy-winning hit from Beyoncé's 2024 Cowboy Carter album. The crowd erupted as it was the first time the duo sang the song live together, according to Vogue . Beyoncé told the audience, 'I love you all so much. I'm incredibly thrilled because I wanted to do something truly special for you. Let's hear it for Ms Miley Cyrus—I'm so thankful to share the stage with you'. The energy in the stadium soared. Both stars embraced the night's theme: gold, glitz, and glamour. Beyoncé wore a fringed golden bodysuit with a scoop neck, sparkling baubles, and a bold belt. She paired it with heeled cowboy boots. Miley Cyrus matched her in a crystal-encrusted catsuit and stiletto boots. The message was clear: go bold or go home. Miley Cyrus shared her gratitude on Instagram after the show. She wrote, '@beyonce to be beside such a humble, gracious, legendary DIVA was a dream come true. Thank you for the opportunity to perform in Paris together & sing our song about friendship. To have learned from you and loved you my whole life, and then stand together in matching gold looks, is more than I could have imagined. As the finale to this trip supporting Something Beautiful , to close on something as beautiful as a stadium full of people singing II Most Wanted with us was the ultimate fireworks. Thank you, B. I'll be your shotgun rider for life. Big gratitude to the Cowboy Carter tour crew, you all were incredible for making this happen. Forever and always'. Beyoncé responded with warmth. On stage, she said, 'I want you to give it up for the icon—I'm the biggest fan. I love you, I'm so grateful to watch you and to sing with you, Miss Miley Cyrus'. Their mutual respect was clear. Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother, also praised the moment, saying, 'I adored this segment of the show tonight!' The Cowboy Carter tour has become a fashion spectacle. Designers like Mugler, Burberry, Roberto Cavalli, and Schiaparelli have all contributed to Beyoncé's wardrobe. Her looks blend cowgirl flair with high fashion. Even her daughter, Blue Ivy, has joined the stage in dazzling rodeo-inspired outfits. The Grammy-winning duet, the fashion, and the friendship between these two superstars resonate globally. Local changemakers bring big-screen joy to Alexandra

For a few hours on Friday evening, the township of Alexandra shed its usual shadows of hardship, poverty, and crime, and came alive with community spirit. Just near the intersection of Thoko Ngoma and Far Eastbank streets, children gathered for a movie night hosted by The Eye Pictures 1920, in partnership with the Stepping Tennis Foundation. Read more: The enduring legacy of Kings Cinema The event saw little ones treated to the hilarity of Despicable Me 4, an experience curated with care. 'I played it because it's funny. I have watched the movie, it made me laugh, and I wished to enjoy it with others,' said Siyabonga 'Makwera' Twala, of The Eye Pictures 1920. It was the fourth screening in this initiative by The Eye Pictures 1920, but the first one in collaboration with the Stepping Tennis Foundation. Twala's inspiration traces back to a cherished memory from 2010, when he and his friends would watch cartoons together on a big screen at a park in Eastbank. 'Coming back from school we would go there and watch Cartoon Network. We first saw Phineas and Ferb there.' It was this nostalgia that sparked his mission to recreate those moments, offering the children of Alexandra their own version of that joy. Stepping Tennis member Sibusiso 'Scuba Ray' Shongwe resonated with the vision. 'Siyabonga wanted to give back to the less privileged. It is not everyone who knows this cinema setting. So, my friend wanted to bring it to the township.' Shongwe, who is a long-time supporter of the initiative, added that since he works with children, he also wanted to give them something magical. In a township often overlooked because of its challenges, a projector, and a bit of heart from two local changemakers, turned an ordinary street into a place of unity and laughter.
