
His Highness Shaikh Khalid Honors Winners of Al Dana Drama Award 2025

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, honored the winners of the second edition of the Al Dana Drama Award 2025 during a ceremony held on Sunday evening at the Bahrain National Theater.
The event took place under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness and was attended by HE Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information, along with a distinguished gathering of Gulf and Arab drama stars, creators, media professionals, and guests from both within Bahrain and across the region.
Speaking on the occasion, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad commended the remarkable progress of the award in its second year, highlighting its role in promoting artistic excellence and supporting the cultural identity of Bahrain and the wider Arab world.
He emphasized that the strong backing of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the cultural and artistic sectors continues to be a key driver of Bahrain's vibrant creative landscape. His Highness also lauded the dedication of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in empowering artistic and cultural initiatives, reinforcing Bahrain's position as a hub for Arab creativity.
'The significant growth in participation and the elevated quality of submissions this year underscore the award's value as a premier platform celebrating artistic achievement,' His Highness stated. He further highlighted the award's role in recognizing and encouraging writers, directors, and actors to continue delivering meaningful and impactful work.
His Highness congratulated all the winners of the 2025 edition, expressing pride in their contributions to high-caliber drama that resonates with audiences and serves societal development. He extended best wishes for their continued success and innovation in the field.
His Highness also expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Information for its efforts in organizing the event and praised the jury's professionalism in evaluating submissions, which helped shine a spotlight on outstanding talent and emerging voices in the Gulf and Arab drama scene.

Indonesia meet Group C winners Pakistan, while the other ties see Korea take on Australia and Vietnam face Qatar. All matches take place at the Isa bin Rashid Hall.
