KUWAIT CITY, May 15: Zain announced its official sponsorship of the 10th Arab Handball Cup Championship, which was hosted in Kuwait and organized by the Kuwait Handball Federation. The tournament saw the participation of 9 Arab national teams who competed over a full week in a vibrant sports atmosphere and a strong fan presence. The championship concluded with Qatar winning the title, Bahrain coming in second, and Kuwait taking third place.
At the closing ceremony, President of the Kuwait Handball Federation, Fouad Al-Bloushi, honored Hamad Al-Musaibeeh, Corporate Relations Department Manager at Zain Kuwait, in recognition of Zain's support for the championship. Nasser Al-Ajmi, head of the Kuwaiti delegation, congratulated the athletes and extended his thanks to the technical staff led by coach Ahmad Al-Harbi for their efforts in improving the athletes' performance. He also praised the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Paralympic Committee and the management of the Kuwait Disabled Sports Club for their ongoing support of para athletics, urging the athletes to continue working hard to raise Kuwait's flag in regional, international, and global competitions.
