Pahang ruler hails firefighters' dedication

KUANTAN: Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah expressed his gratitude to members of the Fire and Rescue Department for carrying out their duties diligently, regardless of time and situation.
The ruler conveyed his pride and appreciation for the firefighters' unwavering service and dedication. "Without the members of the Fire and Rescue Department, the challenges we face during the monsoon season, dry spells and other emergencies would be far more difficult to overcome.

The theme of this year's celebration is "Bomba Tonggak Penyelamatan Negara" (Fire Department Pillar of National Safety").
Meanwhile, large crowds lined up the streets to watch parachute jumps by smoke jumpers from the Fire and Rescue Department and firefighter skills demonstrations.
